5. Pont Alexandre III

   The Pont Alexandre III, one of the many bridges that cross ENt the Seine, was officially inaugurated in 1900. 6. Musee de l’Armee des Invalides

   Built under the orders DE Louis XIV from 1670, Les Invalides, also known as the National Pension DEs Invalides, was created as a hospital and care facility for wounded veterans. Today, the site still serves this purpose, although the huge complex also includes several museums, many courtyards DE interior and the highest dome DE Paris.

7. Ecole Militaire

   Located at the end of the Champ DE Mars Park, overlooking the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero, this elegant 18th-century complex houses several different military training facilities. 8. Place de la Concorde

   Located on the right bank DE the Seine and bordered by the idyllic Jardin DEs Tuileries and the grand boulevard DEs Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris. It was here that the infamous guillotines DE the French Revolution were located, but today the square is best known for its magnificent monuments, elegant hotels and elaborate fountains.

9. Place-Vendome

   Home DE elegant hotels, DE historic designers, jewelry stores and even the Ministry of Justice, the vast Place Vendôme is one of the rarest public squares in Paris. 10. Louvre Museum
