About this experience
Discover Portugal with a 100% cool driver. I drive the way I'd like someone to drive for me. Almourol Castle: Perched on a steep islet in the middle of the Tagus River, Almourol Castle is possibly the most scenic monument in Portugal. Rebuilt by Gualdim Pais (Master of the Knights Templar) in 1171, it served as a strategic defensive point during the Reconquista. Today, it looks like something out of a medieval fairy tale, accessible only by boat, evoking legends of knights and mysteries. In Tomar, we find what was the headquarters of the Order of the Temple and, later, of the Order of Christ. The Convent of Christ is a living lesson in architecture. The Sanctuary of Fátima is one of the largest Marian pilgrimage centers in the world. Built on the site of the 1917 apparitions, the place impresses with its scale and silence.

Amazing tour of Mira de Aires Caves and Fatima with Hugo
We had an absolutely wonderful day with Hugo on our trip from Lisbon to the Mira de Aire Caves and Fátima. Traveling with three children can sometimes be challenging, but Hugo made the entire experience effortless, enjoyable, and memorable. His knowledge of Portugal's history was incredible, and his explanations of the history and significance of Fátima brought the site to life for all of us. He was patient with our children's questions and helped make the day engaging for the whole family. One of the highlights of our trip was the charming little restaurant he took us to, where we enjoyed some of the most delicious and authentic Portuguese food we've had. It's the kind of place we never would have found on our own and made us feel like we were experiencing the real Portugal. Most importantly, Hugo made us feel safe and well cared for throughout the day. He got our family home safely and comfortably, and his kindness and professionalism were evident from beginning to end. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and exceptional guide in Portugal, I couldn't recommend Hugo more highly. Thank you for helping create such special memories for our family!

How far in advance should I book Private tour of Tomar and Fatima from Lisbon.?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
