1. Yuyuan Old Street

   Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 09:00 a.m.. Then, we will transfer to Shanghai Old City by public transportation and start the highlight tour. Shanghai Old Street, historically called Miaoqian Dajie, is an old business street that has a combination of tourist attractions, shops, entertainment and cultural exhibits. It owes its special social attractions and rich commercial background to the fact that the earliest bank, gold shop, jeweler's store, wine shop and tea house of the city were all to be found here. Visiting the old alleys of Shanghai is a great way to discover the traditional culture of this city and experience the real life of the Shanghainese. Then, we visit the largest ancient gardens in Shanghai - Yu Garden.

2. Yu Garden

   Yu Garden was a private garden of the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. It was the largest and most prestigious of its era in Shanghai after it was completed. Yu Garden is small in size, but it contains all elements that a classical Chinese garden should have. The pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters all have unique characteristics. The exquisite layout, beautiful scenery, and the artistic style of the garden architecture have made the garden one of the highlights of Shanghai. You can walk to the Zigzag Nine Bend Bridge. Chinese people believe that the number nine symbolizes auspiciousness. Walking across the Bridge is said to bring people good luck. The Bridge leads to Mid-Lake Pavilion Teahouse, which is the oldest teahouse in Shanghai. Then, we will visit the famous Shanghai "Fabric Market" - South Bund Soft Spinning Material Market.

3. South Bund Soft Spinning Material Market

   The famous Shanghai "Fabric Market" is home to hundreds of tailors and seamstresses, and is the city's prime destination for bespoke clothing garments. Most people who come to Shanghai will recommend the South Bund Spinning Material Market as a must-visit place. There you can choose a variety of fabrics and then work with a tailor to customise the clothes you want. Once you enter the market, you can see almost all the shops are using several languages to write their billboards as 80% of the customers are foreigners. “Tailor” is the most prominent feature, not only satisfying Chinese and foreigner's requirement for tailored fit clothes, but also bringing them unique clothing characteristics. Then, we will explore local Bird And Flower Market to experience original Shanghai lifestyle.

4. Bird And Flower Market(South Xizang road)

   The tour will start by the crossing of Tibet Road and Fangbang Road, in one of Shanghai’s many antique neighborhoods, also known as the cricket market. Its full of flowers, bonsai, birds, fish insects and crowds of people searching for whatever their hearts desire. It is a good place to experience part of a local’s life kind of life. According to your preference, your guide will recommend a place to eat, which could be a small local eatery or elegant cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, we will transfer to Pudong New Area, visit Shanghai Ocean Aquarium and Shanghai Tower.

5. Pudong New Area

   As a new and bustling district, Pudong offers visitors some of the most modern attractions, businesses, skyscrapers and shopping malls, all featuring the latest in entertainment, technology and fashion. We will walk along Lujiazui Ring Bridge which is good place to photograph skyscrapers.

6. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium

   Shanghai Ocean Aquarium is located in Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone in Pudong District and is adjacent to the famous Oriental Pearl Tower and Jin Mao Tower. One of the largest ocean aquariums in the world, it has the world's longest submarine viewing tunnel measuring 155 meters in length. The submarine viewing tunnel enables visitors to have a wonderful tour here. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium consists of two pyramid-shaped buildings - a main building and an annexe. The main building is divided into different exhibition zones: China Zone, South America Zone, Australia Zone, Africa Zone, Southeast Asia Zone, Cold Water Zone, Polar Zone, Sea and Shore, Deep Ocean Zone and Special Exhibitions. The exhibits include more than 300 types and 15,000 water creatures and rare fishes, such as poison dart frogs, jellyfishes, moonfish, leafy sea dragons and emperor penguins.

7. Shanghai Tower

   The new landmark of Shanghai, the tallest building in Shanghai with a total height of 632 meters. The 118th floor of the tower has a indoor observation deck which is the world's highest indoor observation deck and called the 'Top of Shanghai Observatory'. Tourists are recommended to visit the exhibition hall on floor B1 first, and then take the express elevator to the 118th floor directly within only 55 seconds, its speed can reach 18 meters per second. Here, you have a bird’s-eye view of Shanghai. You will have time to stop and admire the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River on the 119th floor. We will visit the highest book store in China - Duoyun Books ‘Duoyun Books’ flagship store is located on the 52nd floor of the Shanghai Tower, at a height of 239m above ground. Overlooking Shanghai, visitors an nearly touch the blue sky and white clouds, while also enjoying a ‘garden in the sky’. With a design based on a Chinese landscape, the space contains bookshelves shaped like mountains and is divided into seven areas including those for books, exhibitions, cultural events and leisure areas. Then, we will transfer to the Bund and see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles.

8. The Bund

   The Bund is a famous waterfront on the west bank of Huangpu River and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund. Such as Peace Hotel(Heping Fandian), Shanghai Customs House and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. We will appreciate skyscrapers across the Huangpu River.

9. The Bund City Sculptures

   We will see the Bund City Sculptures, Monument to the People's Heroes, Huangpu Park and Waibaidu Bridge. Afterwards, enjoy comfortable transfer back to your hotel. Wrap your memories and say good-bye in your hotel.
