Informative & joyous trip

Chitra’s contagious laugh and spirit was the cherry on top of this incredible trip. Both him and Lukesh’s connection to everyone we came across made the whole journey more immersive and special. I would take a tour with this group a million times again!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words. We are here in Nepal to assist you and hope to take a tour together again.

Lovely Trip, Wonderful Guy, Felt Super Safe!!!!

It was so much fun and he took such great care of me and all of my friends! He was truly an angel and whenever an issue popped up he was able to resolve it. The hike down Mohare Donda looked especially arduous, but thanks to him and his connections he arranged for us to take cars down the mountain, saving us time and unnecessary injuries!

Response from the operator: It was great pleasure to trek in Himalayas with you lovely people. We would like to request you to give us opportunities to assist you again in Nepal trip.

Amazing Trekking Tour Guides!

The experience provided by the Nepal Nature Adventure Destination was truly once in a lifetime! Chitra and Lukesh are such knowledgable people and their expertise and care made this trek unforgettable. I had never been to Nepal before and had never experienced a trek of this kind. I learned so much during every conversation with Chitra and Lukesh, and the interactions I was able to have in each village were so meaningful due to their connections and relationships with each village. This experience is one I will always cherish and the thoughtfulness of Chitra, Lukesh, and everyone I had the opportunity to meet along the way is something I will never forget. I cannot speak more highly of this trekking/tour experience!

Generous and Kind

My group had the most incredible experience with Chitra and Lukesh. We loved getting to hear their stories along the trek and felt safe and knowing we had experienced guides with us despite heavy rain and hail. We learned so much about the culture and the way of life of those living in the villages we visited along the way. The generosity and hospitality we encountered on this trip was truly amazing and inspiring. The end of the trip was bittersweet as we were sad to say goodbye, but also happy knowing we made a positive impact on their livelihoods.

Response from the operator: We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to meet you again. Himalayas are calling you amazing people again. We hope to meet you again.

A truly enriching experience!

This could not have been a more wonderful experience! Having never done a trek like this before I was nervous about what to expect. However, it could not have been a more enjoyable and enriching experience. Chitra and Lukesh, our guides, were knowledgeable, kind and curated a wonderful trek. We spent the days hiking through the most stunning terrain I have ever seen and got to learn more about the culture from Chitra and Lukesh. We got to stay at community lodges where the accommodations were comfortable and the food was tasty. All of our hosts were generous and could not have been more welcoming. The pace and trekking difficulty were manageable and the guides are more than happy to stop whenever needed. All in all it was one of the coolest experiences of my life and it wouldn't have been the same without the wonderful guides Chitra and Lukesh! It is an opportunity I wouldn't pass up and would do again!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your reviews. Hopefully we will work more hard to do our best in the future.

Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.

How much does Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda cost?

+

Prices start at $425 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.

Is Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour Local Culture and The View of Mohare Danda start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

+

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
