Great Tour, Great Guide, Great Memories
We had a wonderful private tour and an excellent overall travel experience. We learned so much about the local culture and history, which made the trip even more meaningful. Our tour guide was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the island. That passion really brought Gran Canaria to life for us. The island itself is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm very happy to hear the island came alive for you and that you enjoyed the experience. Hope to see you again one day!

An excellent overview with an excellent guide/driver
This was exactly what we were looking for. An overview of special places on Gran Canaria that are not over run with other visitors. Also insights from a local about customs, holidays, special food and drink. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day with a new friend.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Denise! I’m really glad you enjoyed discovering some of the quieter and more special places on the island. It was a pleasure spending the day together. Wishing you many more wonderful travels!

Spend a day with a local!
Our family of 4 loved this tour! It was our favorite day during our week in Gran Canaria. Our tour guide, Naty, is a Gran Canaria local who is well versed on the islands' history. Naty is inquisitive and adaptable, we changed the trajectory of our day based on feedback from our family and catered to our preferences. The day was full of beautiful views, yummy snacks, and plenty of picture-worthy sites. For us, we felt more like travelers, or locals, rather than tourists. This day was far superior to anything we could have researched on our own. If you are someone who is wanting to see multiple sites of the island including the calderas, mountains, rainforests, etc, we would highly recommend. In addition to the tour itself, Naty was kind enough to help us plan the remainder of our trip. He recommended a 5-hour itinerary that was perfect for our remaining day. Overall, he went above and beyond what was expected.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was a pleasure spending the day with your family and showing you different sides of Gran Canaria. I hope the rest of your trip went wonderfully—you're always welcome back!

Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Gran Canaria.
How much does Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria cost?
+
Prices start at $611 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Gran Canaria usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Gran Canaria is not rushed.
Is Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 67 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Gran Canaria, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria?
+
Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Gran Canaria can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Gran Canaria and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Gran Canaria within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Gran Canaria?
+
On Outty we rank every Gran Canaria experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Puerto de Mogán: Coastal Cruise with Optional Snorkeling & Lunch, Guided tour of the Banana World, Gran Canaria Red Canyon: Small Group Tour & Local Food ツ. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Gran Canaria?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Gran Canaria?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria?
+
Included: Private transportation; Legal insurance; Tickets; Photos; and All Fees and Taxes. Not included: Restaurant or cafeteria. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Private Tour Guide in Gran Canaria include hotel pickup?

+
