    Terrific driver and guide

Our driver Damir was professional, informative and on time. Even with small delays on our side he was patient and never pressured us to move along. Super experience in Sibenik and Krka National Park and Skradin (cute town on the lake)

    Memorable family holiday

We did a 13-day tour of Croatia and Slovenia starting at Dubrovnik and ending our holiday at Lake Bled. We were fortunate enough to have Pave as our driver for the entire trip along with some local guides along the way. Pave is a very reliable and responsive driver and we had so much joy traveling with him. Hrvoje whom we dealt with on the overall tour arrangements were also very responsive with our needs and questions. We had a memorable holiday and hope to return to spend more time at some of our favourite places during the cooler months.

    No crowds which was awesome.

Well worth the trip. We went in January so there were no other visitors except us. We had the entire place to ourselves which was amazing! The only downfall was that nothing was open especially in Trogir. The waterfalls and national park were awesome. Our driver was so helpful and knowledgeable.

    Disappointed

Our driver was very nice. Unfortunately, he gave us some misinformation which caused us some aggravation snd wasted almost an hour of our gyms. The owner of the local tour company was very gracious and issued a partial refund because of the problems we had. However, the Viator representative to whom I told that the website description was misleading because it stated “driver/tour guide” and our driver did not serve as a tour guide refused to accept responsibility on behalf of Viator, issue any credit as requested, and may have hung up on me. We had a fabulous experience the following day through Viator the following day in a private boat but I was disappointed with Viator’s response here.

Response from the operator: Hi, thank you for booking with Croatia Private Tours. I am glad that your overall experience with our driver and owner was positive. There was clearly a lack of communication between Viator and you as a customer. I would like to emphasize that you made your reservation through Viator and we cannot take responsibility for any misunderstandings. It is clearly stated at the time of booking that an English-speaking driver and a modern vehicle will be provided. Furthermore, it is clearly written, "Inside the park, enjoy free time walking along educational paths and exploring the park." Finally, a generous refund was issued from our team and was never option. Thank You and wish you all the best

The park was wonderful and we visited Plimosten beach which was amazing. Our driver Miro was great and very flexible to our requests.

Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.

How much does Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional) cost?

    +

Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional) take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.

Is Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional)?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional)?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour from Split to Krka Park (Trogir Town is optional) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
