This was not a tour as it...
This was not a tour as it is advertised. We had a driver who simply dropped us off at each location where we were on our own. We were expecting maybe some background, history, or storytelling from the driver- but did not get any of that.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. As clearly stated in the tour description, this option does not include a guide. To keep the price as low and accessible as possible for travelers, we offer transportation-only tours by default, as including a licensed guide would nearly double the cost. That said, we completely understand that some guests prefer a more in-depth experience, and we’re always happy to arrange a professional guide upon request. We appreciate your comments and will continue to do our best to make sure the tour details are as clear as possible for future guests. Thank you again for your input, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Pretty painted houses, striking town hall and fabulous wooden churches
The minimum number to join a group being two, I had to book a private tour, and my driver Wojciech was pleasant. Zalipie was cute with its pretty painted houses. I enjoyed visiting three houses as part of the museum; luckily I was able to tag along with someone who had an English-speaking guide, as otherwise there is no information. Tarnow is not touristic: the main square is picturesque, restaurant terraces surrounding the striking town hall, now a museum. I'd researched things to see, so I went to see two fabulous wooden churches and Bimah, the remains of the old synagogue. There was ample time for lunch, and I enjoyed some tasty potato pancakes.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your private tour and that Wojciech made your journey pleasant. Zalipie’s charming painted houses truly are a unique and delightful highlight, and we’re happy to hear you had the opportunity to visit the museum and enjoy the artistry of the village. It’s great that you explored Tarnow and discovered its hidden gems, from the picturesque main square to the wooden churches and the historic Bimah. We’re also glad you had time to savor some delicious local cuisine—potato pancakes are definitely a must-try! Your feedback about the lack of English information in Zalipie is valuable, and we’ll consider ways to enhance the experience for our English-speaking guests in the future. Thank you for choosing us for your tour, and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tour for Krakow to Zalipie Village and Tarnow start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
