An unforgettable experience

Our group is 15 people, 7 of which are young kids. This was perfect for us because of the flexibility of the private group. We changed our pickup time from 7am to 8am, so that we had time to have breakfast before the 2 hour drive to Tulum. The adults enjoyed the tour in Tulum but it was too hot for little kids 3-5 years old. The lunch at the local restaurant was very good. The tour in Coba was wonderful, we rented bikes. Little kids were on the tricycles with local drivers. The last stop was swimming in cenote. It was at the end of the day and we had the cenote all to ourselves. The water was so clear and beautiful, we also saw many small fish. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Our tour guide Chippa was very professional and kind. Definitely worth the higher cost especially when you have little kids.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed overview of your stay through this means. Our passengers’ feedback is genuinely appreciated in our constant commitment to improving our service levels.

A great experience

This private tour was great. It was customized to our timeline, we did not feel rushed at all. Our guide was very knowledgeable and delightful to be with. The buffet lunch was delicious. We swam in an amazing cenote and our guide snapped amazing pictures for us. This private excursion was well worth the price.

I’d do it again!

In every way, this was amazing. Arianna shared her knowledge and passion for culture with us, and flying on the rickshaw bikes through Coba was so peaceful. So was the tranquil, underground cenote, as was our driver Fernando. It was all truly spectacular! Thank you.

All Day Trip

Fernando was a great tour guide. He was full of information answering all questions. The driver was safe and got us to all the places. I would highly recommend the tour was private and avoided large crowds. It’s all day and things went smooth.

Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba cost?

+

Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba?

+

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour: 2 Mayan cities in one day, Tulum and Coba start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

+

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
