About this experience

Ride a wave of excitement on this Lanzarote surfing session. Experience the thrill and magic of surfing, a sport many say that change your life. Your knowledgeable instructor will be in the water with you, guiding you every step of the way. All necessary equipment is included. -What makes the difference between us and others: stay in the water with customers to help them (unfortunately, it is not a common thing but we do it really) -Reduce lesson time, choosing to take a short break and not an hour (with time we have seen that beginners tire easily so we prefer to shorten the time to stay the same hours in the water but with little pause) -Take pictures of the day, if possible, sometimes the instructor stays in the water all the time because he needs to do it, and he can't take pictures, but generally, he can, so you can have a memory. -Kindness, passion, patience towards customers (Diego is born to teach) they are the things that differentiate us but come and try for yourself!

Super positive experience.

Beautiful experience, we had a lot of fun. One thing we found super convenient was the transportation service: they came to pick us up and took us back. Daniele is a professional and friendly instructor. We absolutely recommend it!

Response from the operator: Grazie 🤩 Daniele vi saluta 🤙

Deal 10 out of 10

The activity and the place, amazing. The monitors, a 10, were attentive and willing to resolve all our doubts prior to the activity. During this one, very kind and motivating, they made this an unforgettable and very fun experience the truth. People who controlled the subject a lot and knew how to motivate you. Photos a very very cool plus, 10 out of 10.

Response from the operator: Muchísimas gracias Nos alegra muchísimo leer esto. Fue un placer compartir la experiencia contigo. Hasta la próxima aventura

Exciting experience on the surfboard

Exciting surfing experience in Famara with my group! Although we were almost all at the first surfing experience we were immediately put at ease, after a first phase of warm-up and explanation on positioning and movements on the board we immediately entered the water and experienced the thrill of riding the waves! Diego was very patient and helpful in providing us with suggestions and areas for improvement during the lesson in the water, great coach in short! Definitely to be repeated!

Surf School 3s you are Great!!

Wow ! I would like to say the same as a previous review.. the Best instructor ever, Diego is a real pro in its job, he's an easygoing person and has a lot of experience. I couldn't choose a better surf. I could stand and surf on my board after a couple hours. All the credits are for Diego The team provided everything to first timers to try surfing the most fun and safe way: quick communication via whatsapp, transfers from hotel, wetsuits and boards. With great instructions we were up in the board faster than I would have ever imagined. We loved it so much that booked for another session the same week - we got more tips to develop our very basic skills to turns etc. On Saturday towards noon the beach got quite crowded. So if you are considering to start surfing in Lanzarote, I would most definitely recommend this school and pick a weekday, if possible.

Response from the operator: Hi Jas, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review & what a lovely one! We are glad you enjoyed it & we hope to see you again! Kind regards The School3s team

Private Surfing Lesson in Famara: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.

How much does Private Surfing Lesson in Famara cost?

+

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Surfing Lesson in Famara take?

+

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.

Is Private Surfing Lesson in Famara worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Surfing Lesson in Famara?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Surfing Lesson in Famara suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Surfing Lesson in Famara?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Surfing Lesson in Famara start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?

+

On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatini's Show Bar, #1 thing to do PDC (Badge of Excellence), Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff, Catamaran Sailing in Lanzarote. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lanzarote?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
