A 5-Star Dive Experience in Aqaba We had a fantastic dive experience here. We called ahead from Wadi Rum to let them know we'd be arriving in the morning and wanted to book three days of diving. They arranged accommodation right at the dive center, which was both convenient and reasonably priced. We were a family of five — three divers and two non-divers — and stayed in two triple rooms. The rooms were brand new, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed: smart TVs, internet access, and balconies we really enjoyed. There were extra pillows and towels, plus outdoor hangers that proved incredibly useful when diving and snorkeling multiple times a day with the limited swimwear we had packed. We were told there were washing machines available, though we didn't end up using them. Each room also had a coffee maker with coffee and tea, which we enjoyed in the mornings, and a fridge to keep our cold drinks and water chilled. Bottled water, shampoo, soap, and hairdryers were all provided. We had our own car, and the on-site parking was a nice bonus. Our dive master, Mekal, was absolutely top-notch. My daughter is 12 and had just gotten certified in July, and Mekal was wonderful at helping her feel comfortable, teaching her about buoyancy and getting her weights right. The team was very flexible with the dive sites and made sure we tried somewhere new on every dive. When we asked for a night dive, they accommodated us that same day. We typically did two dives a day, usually leaving around 9 AM. They provided transportation to the sites, along with a nice break in between over some lovely Jordanian tea. After our dives, we'd borrow snorkeling gear from the shop and enjoy the sunset from the beach, just a three-minute drive from the dive center. In the evenings, we'd head back, shower, and spend the night in downtown Aqaba — about 15 minutes away by car — where we'd have dinner and enjoy a few drinks. Captain Faisal was always attentive, checking in on our stay and making sure we had everything we needed. He shared some exciting plans for expanding the dive shop with a restaurant and swimming pools. The shop is very well equipped — we didn't do any tech diving, but it clearly seems ready for tech diving courses as well. The entire crew is amazing and multilingual. My kids only speak English and were very happy with the instructors. All in all, a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price. We can't wait to visit again and see the planned expansions at this incredible Aqaba dive center.

A memorable experience

The experience was great. As a family we enjoyed it so much. The staff were great and super friendly. They encouraged some of us that weren't sure to try it and we were glade we did. I highly recommend them to everyone visiting Aqaba and wants to scuba dive in the red sea.

Amazing! 💯

Amazing experience with the Team! I’ve ever felt so safe underwater with all the instructors I’ve been with! They’re all so professional, nice, patient, and supportive. I remember inquiring via WhatsApp and they reply accordingly, changed my booking dates multiple times and still very accommodating 😅. I’ve done Buoyancy Course and Night Dive with Ahmad and he’s so patient and calm. They’re flexible as well, no pressure so I ended up doing more dives as per my chosen time 😁. The hospitality in the hotel is great! 🫶 Thank you Mr Faisal, Ahmad, Hadi, Mikel, Ali, and the rest of the team! You guys made my stay in Aqaba worthwhile - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Unprofessional and rushed experience – Not recommended for beginners

I want to start by saying the office staff were very welcoming and organized, which gave me a great first impression. However, the actual diving experience was the opposite. Because they were overbooked, they made us wait for around hour while the sun was setting, then the instructors came back from their last session, then my dive was rushed as the sun was setting. My assigned instructor was dismissive, spent more time talking to his colleague than assisting me, and was impatient when I struggled with my weights. For a first-timer, this lack of attention is not just unprofessional-it's unsafe. I came back to the surface immediately because I felt ignored and unsupported. We returned to the office and I expected someone to ask me how the experience was ! No one did, everyone wanted to pack up for the day and leave. The quality of instruction and safety standards on the water need serious improvement.

The booking was made on the same day, approximately one hour before arrival. Despite our busy schedule, we made an extra effort to accommodate your group and organize the dive on short notice, which reflects our commitment to our guests. Your group consisted of three participants, and for safety reasons we assigned three certified instructors, one instructor per diver. This represents a very high safety standard, especially for first-time divers, and goes beyond what most dive centers offer. During the dive, two participants completed their dives normally and were very happy with the experience. The third participant experienced difficulty managing breathing underwater, which can sometimes happen with first-time divers. All three instructors made multiple attempts to assist, calm, and support him with patience and full attention. Ultimately, the decision to end the dive was made by the diver himself, not by the instructors. Our instructors always continue to assist and encourage until the very last moment, as long as it remains safe. At no point were safety standards compromised. On the contrary, the situation was handled according to professional diving standards, with the diver’s comfort and safety as the top priority. We are sorry that the experience did not meet expectations, but we respectfully disagree with the statement that safety or instructional standards were lacking. Sometimes, despite proper instruction and full support, a first-time diver may decide that they are not comfortable continuing, and we fully respect that choice. Awesome dive!

The diving site was Gorgon 1, I wish I had more info about the level (I am an Advanced Open Water Certified Diver), this was a very enjoyable dive and super easy. The dive master was super nice and they even took underwater photos and videos (included in the price). If I ever come back, I will look into night dives or boat dives with them.
