Beautiful photos and an outstanding experience
Chris combines excellent skill with a great work ethic. The day we hired him turned out to be rainy and cloudy, and we couldn't see the Golden Gate Bridge. He was very accommodating and offered to do the shoot the next day instead. The next day he kept us updated regularly on the visibility and patiently waited for the bridge to clear up. He gave us plenty of time during the shoot and took so many pictures from some of the most beautiful spots around the bridge. We'd highly recommend him.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the kind review! The weather definitely kept us guessing, but I'm glad we were able to wait for the clouds to clear and finally get those iconic Golden Gate Bridge views. Flexibility is part of photographing San Francisco, and I always want my clients to have the best possible experience and photos. It was a pleasure exploring the area with you and capturing images from some of my favorite locations around the bridge. Thank you again for trusting me with your session and for taking the time to share your experience. I truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to see you back in San Francisco again soon!

Excellent Engagement Photography Experience
Chris is a fantastic photographer. He took our engagement photos and made me and my fiance feel comfortable and our best natural selves. He knows SF very well and has great recommendations for locations, lighting, and poses. Our family was amazed by the photos we got. Would definitely book again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the kind words and for trusting me to capture such an important moment at the Legion of Honor. You put an incredible amount of thought and planning into this surprise engagement, and it was truly an honor to help bring everything together behind the scenes. From coordinating timing and lighting to selecting the perfect proposal location overlooking San Francisco, every detail came together beautifully. One of the things I love most about engagement photography in San Francisco is helping couples feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera while taking advantage of the city’s iconic scenery. The Legion of Honor is one of my favorite locations for surprise proposal photography because it offers elegant architecture, romantic coastal views, and beautiful golden light near sunset. You both were amazing to work with, and the genuine emotion and excitement throughout the session made the photos incredibly special. I’m so happy your family loved the images as much as I enjoyed creating them. Congratulations again on your engagement, and thank you for choosing Chris Conner Photography for your San Francisco engagement photos and surprise proposal photography experience!

The perfect engagement shoot
We could not be more grateful for the incredible experience we had with Chris during our engagement photoshoot at Battery Spencer. From the very beginning, Chris was attentive, supportive, and genuinely involved in helping me plan everything — from the timing to the communication and the search for the perfect spot with the Golden Gate as the backdrop. His guidance was especially valuable since I was coming from another country and didn’t know the area, and he made every step feel easy and exciting. The photos exceeded every expectation. The quality of Chris’s work is truly outstanding — each picture captures emotion, light, and the essence of that special moment in a way that feels artistic and powerful. His talent behind the camera is undeniable, and the results speak for themselves. What we appreciated the most was Chris’s warmth, kindness, and patience throughout the entire experience. He made us feel comfortable, understood, and fully taken care of — something incredibly meaningful for such an important day. We would recommend Chris without hesitation. His professionalism, artistry, and genuine care turned a beautiful moment into memories we will treasure forever.
Response from the operator: Alex, thank you so much for this incredible review — it truly means a lot. Photographing your engagement at Battery Spencer with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so glad the planning support was helpful, especially with you traveling from abroad. Coordinating the timing, location scouting, and all those pre-shoot details is something I love doing, and you two made the process effortless with your positivity and trust. I’m thrilled that the photos exceeded your expectations. That evening light over the Golden Gate was perfect, and the emotion between you both made every frame feel powerful and meaningful. Your warmth and openness made it easy to capture images that truly reflect this moment in your lives. Thank you again for the kind words about the experience — the patience, the care, the comfort — those are the parts of this work I value the most. It was an honor to document such an important milestone, and I’m grateful you chose me as your San Francisco engagement photographer. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness, and I’d love to photograph you again the next time you’re in the Bay Area.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.
How much does Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner cost?
+
Prices start at $345 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.
Is Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private San Francisco Photo Experience | Chris Conner start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in San Francisco?
+
San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Francisco?
+
September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Francisco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
