    What an amazing day!!

Mario and Carla made this the highlight of our time in Croatia. From the moment we stepped on board, it felt less like a booked tour and more like spending the day sailing with friends who happen to know every hidden cove on the coast. Carla looked after us the whole way, and Mario read the wind and the water like it was second nature. Unhurried, generous, genuinely lovely people. If you’re anywhere near Omiš, book this — you won’t regret a minute of it.

    A perfect day

The most perfect day on the sea. My husband, two children and I did a full day trip with Mario and Karla, the most fantastic hosts. The entire day was wonderful. The food was delicious. The children and adults had fun swimming, supping, snorkeling and visiting the island of Brac, beautiful town, and secluded bay. Sails up for our journey back. The kids even got the steer. I would highly recommend a trip on Nana. It was a special day we will always remember.

Response from the operator: It was a real pleasure having you all on Nana. ♥️ We’re so happy you enjoyed the day and made some special memories with us. Hope to see you again someday! ⛵️😊

    Unbelievable experience!

What a great experience! Mario knows exactly how to show you a great time in the region. He did an amazing job taking us to Brac and showing us around. The homemade food and wine/beer was unforgettable (and abundant haha) and he made us feel like family. If you are thinking about booking this with Mario, do it. It will be a journey to remember! Thank you for such a great time!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Justin! Your words truly mean a lot to me. I'm very happy you enjoyed Brač, the homemade food, and the wine, but most of all, I'm glad you felt like part of the family on board—that's exactly the kind of experience I hope to create for my guests. It was a pleasure spending the day with you, and thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. I wish you many more great adventures, and I hope to see you again on the Adriatic someday! Mario

    Amazing!

Wow! This was a trip of a lifetime to celebrate my mums 70th birthday and it did not disappoint! Mario and Karla, and their amazing sailboat Nana, were fantastic hosts and created a really special day for us all to enjoy as a family. There was something for everyone. Visiting a magical village, the peacefulness of sailing (my daughter also had the opportunity to drive the boat!), fun for our children to paddle board and snorkel in a secluded and beautiful cove, and delicious wine, drinks, and food all day long! They also made my mum feel special on her birthday , by sharing knowledge, laughter and making her a special birthday cake too. Thank you both so very much.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Holly! It was a pleasure to have you and your lovely family on board. We are so happy we could be part of your mum's special birthday celebration. Wishing you all the very best and hoping to see you again someday! Mario & Karla

Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.

How much does Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer cost?

    +

Prices start at $1125 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.

Is Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 105 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer?

    +

Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Sailing Tour Omiš - Brač with Homemade Lunch, Wine & Beer start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Split?

    +

On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Split?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Split?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
