Horrible communication and no details
I booked a R/T ride in Punta Cana. There wasn't much details in the reservation about the process, only the little bit I read from some reviews. I went outside and fought through all of the taxis looking for someone with my name on paper. Never saw anyone. People asked me for the name of the company which I could not find in the reservation. I had to call Viator rep and they got in contact with the driver and told me the name of the company (Punta Cana Transport). One of the taxi drivers directed me to the driver, which was sitting down holding the my name which was not held up for me to see. The process was terrible, the ride was just ok, and not the cleanest. On the way back to the airport I had to call the company rhe night before to confirm a pickup time. I was told 12pm. At 1215 I called the number multiple times and texted in the app. The resort even tried calling the company as well. The driver finally responded in the app chat stating they were 2 mins away. They arrived at 1230. The driver didn't know English very well and used Google translate to explain he had car trouble and the battery connector had to be secured to fix the issue. Communication with this company is horrible.

We have dedicated representatives who greet every passenger with their name clearly displayed and provide all necessary information. • No driver is authorized to communicate with customers, not by phone nor through any app. Drivers do not handle direct contact with passengers. • You mention communicating with the driver through the app — that could not have been us, because our drivers do not use apps nor have direct contact with customers. Based on everything you describe, it is clear you did not travel with us and have posted this review on the wrong page. Your account does not match our procedures in any way. The confusion over the company name and everything you experienced shows you were looking for a different provider. We want other users to see clearly that this experience does not reflect our service. We are sorry for what happened to you, but it was not with us. Sincerely, Punta Cana Transport

A pleasant accommodating transfer
There was trouble with our flight into Punta Cana and we had to reschedule the pickup with very little notice. They were so accommodating with the reschedule and the divers to and from our resort were excellent.

5 STWRW FOR CARIBBEAN AIRPORT TRANSFERS
I couldn't find where I was going as this was my first time in the Dominican Republic, then I met Erika who sat with me and helped me every step of the way. She checked my booking, took me to my driver and assisted me to start my transport from the airport to the hotel. She was very attentive, and professional but most importantly very friendly. If it wasn't for her I'd be walking around in circles trying to figure out where to go. I highly highly recommend using Caribbean Airport Transfers. Erika cares about her customers!
