Need to know - Prague Architectural

Robert was an excellent guide for our private tour. Expressive, knowledgeable, engaging and so much more. He tailored the tour to our interests and we could not ask 4 more.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review. We're so pleased you enjoyed it. Hoping to see you on another Insight Cities tour in Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, or Salzburg. Safe travels!

    Fun and informative tour

Robert Wesley was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making the tour both fun and educational. He met us at our Airbnb and introduced himself as Czech born but with a Nigerian father. Between stories about each fantastic building, we also learned about his colorful personal history. The 3 hour tour does involve a lot of walking and is not suitable for the mobility impaired. Wesley made the tour a memorable part of our visit to Prague.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review. We're so pleased you enjoyed it. Hoping to see you on another Insight Cities tour in Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, or Salzburg. Safe travels!

    Highly recommended in depth tours

We definitely recommend using Insight Cities! Bonita and her team are so thorough in facilitating your most suitable city experience, and the guided tours are of such high quality! We took the Jewish history tour and Art Nouveau architecture tour of Prague and both were so interesting and entertaining. We love the mix of in-depth knowledge and understanding, time for conversation and surprising fun facts. Vadim and Bonita have so much knowledge of and passion for Prague and they are great at sharing all that.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review. We're so pleased you enjoyed it. Hoping to see you on another Insight Cities tour in Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, or Salzburg. Safe travels!

Great tour of central Prague architecture

This tour was very cool. Vadim’s knowledge of Prague’s architectural history is impressive and he made the various buildings we visited really come alive. I especially liked how he could position us to see how older and newer buildings spoke to each other in terms of their characteristics. Even for people who know Prague well (I lived there for five years), he was able to bring new perspectives to well-known places, such as the murals inside the main post office depicting the history of communication. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review. Our tours are designed with the hope that they will appeal even to those more or less familiar with our cities and we're always delighted to know we've delivered!

A fabulous art nouveau tour with Annelie!

We went on a private art nouveau walking tour with Annelie as our guide. We were extremely impressed by the depth and breadth of her knowledge of art nouveau but also other traditions of art and architecture in the city and beyond. She was an excellent communicator providing many insights into the stories and history of Vienna, art nouveau and Otto Wagner and his disciples in particular. She went out of her her way to bring us to unique sites that would otherwise not be accessible to the public. An attentive and enthusiastic guide with a passion for thé city and the arts and the ability to communicate it expertly in English and French. What more can you ask for? We will highly recommend her to our friends.

Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $330 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Prague Art Nouveau and Cubism Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
