Memorable tour of Prague castle and other sights!

Our tour was special as it occurred on the Czech independence day. Our driver (Petr) and guide (Barbara) arrived at our hotel right on time. The Mercedes van was very new and comfortable, and in immaculate condition. Petr navigated through the city easily and got us close to the sights. Barbara led us on a great tour of the palace, St. Vitus, the basilica, and Golden lane. She provided an in-depth commentary throughout and was very patient with answering all of our questions. Barbara and Petr accommodated our requests to modify their normal tour itinerary, for example skipping the Lobkowicz palace (as we are seeing that on another day). We finished the day at the marvelous nouveau art municipal house adjacent to the powder tower. Thank you Barbara and Petr for showing us all the magnificent sights.

    Exceeded Expectations!!!

The private guide was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. The vehicle was very comfortable, roomy and in great condition. The driver exercised care. The guide was flexible in allowing us to see the sights we wanted to see within the prescribed time of the tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Barry, Thank you so much for the great review of both our guide and the transportation. We are super happy that you enjoyed the tour!

Great 4 hour tour of the city

Barbara was a great guide. Started on time, made sure we got to see everything since we only had one day about 4 hours to see all the sights. She was well informed, gave us enough time to explore on our own and still provide oversight.

Response from the operator: Dear Tamela, Thank you so much for your kind review! We will let Barbara know! Kind regards Vit

Two Tours - Half day tour of Prague / Prague to Terezin tour

My family of four with two kids (15 & 12) initially booked with Vit via email for a private half day tour (4 hours) of Prague. The tour was to include a panoramic view of the city from the Strahov Monastery terrace, Prague castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane, Charles Bridge, Dancing House, National Theatre from the car and Old Town Square. We scheduled the tour the day after we arrived in Prague. From start to finish - everyone who was part of Continental travel was professional, knowledgeable, polite and spoke English fluently. Our guide Radka arrived on time and the driver George drove well and knew where he was going. Radka was full of knowledge about the history of the Czech Republic, helped orient us with the city and gave tips as to how best to use our time while visiting Prague. She is a true gem. Since our experience with our half day tour was excellent, we booked a second private tour to Terezin. Vit booked a driver and arranged our tour in the Small Fortress. After the tour, our driver, Peter took us to visit the Ghetto Museum, Prayer room, replica of attic, former barracks, Jewish Cemetery and Crematorium. Peter was also a fantastic driver and very professional. If you want to book a tour with a company that is reliable, who have professional guides/drivers and who also provide what they promise, book with Continental Travel. Thanks Vit!

Response from the operator: Dear Chorukee, Thank you for the great review, we are very happy that you enjoyed both tours. We enjoy organizing tailor-made tours for knowledgeable customers like you greatly! Thank you again!

Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $152 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Prague Castle and Lobkowicz Palace Half-Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

    +

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
