1. Diamond Head Lookout

   Stop at the Diamond Head Lookout near Lēʻahi, one of Oʻahu’s most recognized landmarks. This scenic roadside viewpoint offers ocean views, coastal scenery, and a look at the surf below, making it a great quick photo stop near Waikīkī. This is not the Diamond Head summit hike and does not include beach access. Stop time may vary based on traffic, parking, and the selected tour route.

2. Halona Blowhole

   Stop at Hālona Blowhole, a scenic coastal lookout on Oʻahu’s southeastern shoreline. Formed by ancient lava tubes, the blowhole can send ocean spray high into the air when surf and tide conditions are right. Guests can enjoy views of the rugged coastline, the Pacific Ocean, and nearby Hālona Beach Cove from the designated lookout area. This is a photo and sightseeing stop; spray activity varies by ocean conditions, and guests should remain behind barriers and follow posted safety signs.

3. Makapu‘U Point

   Stop at Makapuʻu Lookout, a scenic roadside viewpoint on Oʻahu’s southeastern coast. From this area, guests can take in sweeping ocean views, sea cliffs, Makapuʻu Beach, and offshore islets such as Mānana Island, often called Rabbit Island. This is a quick photo and sightseeing stop, not the Makapuʻu Lighthouse Trail hike. During winter months, the area may also offer a chance to spot humpback whales offshore. Stop time may vary based on traffic, parking, weather, and the selected tour route.

4. Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet)

   Stop at Tropical Farms, also known as the Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet, a popular country store on Oʻahu’s Windward side. Guests may have time to browse locally inspired snacks, macadamia nuts, coffee, chocolates, seasonings, and souvenirs. When available, guests can sample macadamia nut flavors, try local coffee, and watch or participate in the traditional-style macadamia nut cracking activity near the store. Product selection, samples, and activities may vary by day. This is a relaxed shopping and tasting stop that gives your group a chance to enjoy local flavors, pick up gifts, and take a short break during the island route.

5. Mokoli’i Island

   View Mokoliʻi Island, the small cone-shaped islet offshore from Kualoa Point in Kāneʻohe Bay, often recognized by visitors as “Chinaman’s Hat.” Framed by the Koʻolau mountains and the Kualoa coastline, this is one of the most photographed landmarks on Oʻahu’s Windward side. Depending on your selected route, timing, and parking availability, your group may view Mokoliʻi from Kualoa Regional Park or along the coastal highway. This is typically a scenic pass-by or quick photo stop, not a beach or hiking stop. A longer stop may be possible if your custom itinerary is planned around the Windward Coast.

6. Kualoa Ranch

   Pass the Kualoa Ranch area, one of Oʻahu’s most recognizable Windward Coast landscapes, with sweeping views of the Koʻolau Mountains, Kaʻaʻawa Valley, and the surrounding coastline. Many visitors know this area for its dramatic scenery and its connection to films and television shows, including the Jurassic Park franchise. This portion of the tour is typically a scenic drive-by or quick exterior photo stop from an approved public area when timing, traffic, and parking allow. Admission to Kualoa Ranch activities, movie tours, ATV tours, horseback riding, and other paid ranch experiences is not included in this private driving tour and must be booked separately.

7. Polynesian Cultural Center

   Optional stop if your custom route is planned around the Windward/North Shore side of Oʻahu. Guests may have time to visit the public shops and marketplace areas at the Polynesian Cultural Center, depending on the selected tour duration, traffic, parking, and overall route flow. This is not a full Polynesian Cultural Center visit. Admission to the village experiences, shows, luau, or other paid activities is not included in this private driving tour and must be purchased separately if guests choose to plan their day around that experience.

8. Kahuku Sugar Mill

   Kahuku Sugar Mill is a casual North Shore lunch stop with multiple local food vendors in one convenient area. Depending on the day and timing, guests may find island-style options such as shrimp plates, poke bowls, plate lunches, tacos, shave ice, and other local favorites. Nearby vendors may include popular local food trucks or stands, but availability can vary. This stop gives your group time to order individually, relax, and enjoy lunch at your own pace during a North Shore-focused route. Food, drinks, vendor availability, and wait times are not included in the tour price.

9. Waimea Valley

   Waimea Valley may be included as an optional North Shore stop depending on your selected tour duration, route, and group interests. Guests can visit the outer entrance area for a brief photo stop, but access to the botanical gardens, cultural sites, and waterfall requires separate admission and additional time. If your group would like to walk to Waimea Falls, the itinerary will need to be adjusted because this stop can take significantly more time than a quick photo stop. Admission, waterfall access, and guided experiences inside Waimea Valley are not included in the tour price.

10. North Shore

    Drive along Oʻahu’s North Shore, one of the island’s most recognized coastal regions, known for surf beaches, ocean views, small-town scenery, and famous areas such as Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, and Haleʻiwa. Your driver/host will share brief context from the vehicle as your group passes through the area. This is a scenic drive-through portion of the tour and does not include beach stops, unloading, swimming, or extended photo stops.

11. Hale‘iwa Town Center

    Pass through or near Haleʻiwa, one of Oʻahu’s most recognized North Shore towns, known for surf culture, plantation-era storefronts, local food spots, shave ice, galleries, and small shops. Your driver/host will share brief context from the vehicle as your group passes through the area. This is typically a pass-by portion of the tour. A brief lunch, shopping, or photo stop in the Haleʻiwa area may be arranged if your group requests it and if timing, traffic, parking, and overall route flow allow. Food, drinks, shopping, and vendor availability are not included in the tour price.

12. Old Waialua Sugar Mill

    Stop at the Old Waialua Sugar Mill, a relaxed North Shore stop that reflects Oʻahu’s plantation-era history and today’s local maker culture. Guests may have time to browse small shops, locally made products, coffee, chocolate, soaps, gifts, or other island-style items depending on which vendors are open. This is a casual shopping and local-flavor stop, not a formal guided museum tour. Vendor hours, product availability, and time on site may vary by day, traffic, and overall tour flow.

13. Dole Plantation

    Stop at Dole Plantation in Wahiawā, a popular Oʻahu stop known for pineapple treats, local gifts, and its large country store. Guests may have time to stretch their legs, browse souvenirs, enjoy the grounds, and purchase snacks or pineapple treats such as Dole Whip. This is typically a brief leisure and shopping stop during the island route. Ticketed attractions such as the Pineapple Express Train Tour, Plantation Garden Tour, and Pineapple Garden Maze are not included in the tour price and may require additional time if your group chooses to purchase them separately.

14. National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

    Drive through the Punchbowl area, officially known as the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, a solemn site honoring U.S. service members. Located inside an extinct volcanic crater above Honolulu, the cemetery offers meaningful memorial grounds and elevated city views from the roadway. This portion of the tour is experienced from the vehicle only. It does not include unloading, walking through the cemetery, or photo stops. Your driver/host will share brief context from the vehicle as your group passes through or near the area, depending on route timing and access.

15. Iolani Palace

    Pass ʻIolani Palace, a National Historic Landmark in Downtown Honolulu and the only official royal palace in the United States. Once home to Hawaiʻi’s monarchs, including King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani, the palace remains one of the most important symbols of the Hawaiian Kingdom. This portion is typically viewed from the vehicle as part of the Downtown Honolulu route. A brief exterior photo stop may be possible if timing, traffic, parking, and overall tour flow allow. Guests who would like to tour the inside of ʻIolani Palace may request this in advance, but admission tickets are not included and the itinerary will need to be adjusted to allow enough time.

16. King Kamehameha Statue

    Pass the King Kamehameha I Statue, one of Honolulu’s most recognized landmarks, located near ʻIolani Palace and Aliʻiōlani Hale. The bronze statue honors King Kamehameha I, the ruler who unified the Hawaiian Islands under one kingdom. Your driver/host will point out the statue during the Downtown Honolulu route and share brief context from the vehicle. This is typically a pass-by portion of the tour. A quick exterior photo stop may be possible if your group requests it and if timing, traffic, parking, and overall route flow allow.
