Unforgettable experience
Our tour guide, Leena, made this such a wonderful experience. Being a local, having lived in Oahu her whole life, she knew all of the unique facts that made it a one of a kind experience. It was so relaxed and flexible which I personally think is better than a structured, no fluctuation schedule. This tour shows you all of the gems that would be missed without being from here. It certainly had stops we plan to come back to later in our trip. Although the pickup can be a little confusing, Leena makes sure to wait and call you to make sure you don’t miss out! Thank you for an unforgettable day, Leena!

Mahalo to our tour guide Leens.
Our tour guide Leena was terrific and shared a wide variety of essential important and interesting knowledge. Unfortunately her microphone was not working more than 1/2 the time so we missed out on much information. Hoping she gets a new microphone. She deserves to be heard! She was personable, kind, patient, and full to capacity of natural born information of Oahu and Hawaii in general. Highly recommend the tour! Mahalo!

Amazing tour of Oahu!
Brian was an amazing local tour guide! He showed us all of his favorite places that are not so touristy! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend Brian with Aloha Sunshine Tours!
Response from the operator: Aloha! Mahalo nui loa for the wonderful review! 🌺 We’re so happy to hear that you had such a great experience with Brian. One of the things we love most about having local guides is their ability to share the places, stories, and hidden gems that you might not discover on your own. We’re thrilled that Brian was able to show you some of his favorite spots and give you a more authentic taste of Hawaiʻi beyond the typical tourist stops. We’ll definitely share your kind words with Brian. Thank you so much for recommending him and Aloha Sunshine Tours! It was our pleasure having you with us, and we hope to see you back in Hawaiʻi again someday. 🤙🌴 With aloha, The Aloha Sunshine Tours ʻOhana

Speaker system was broken therefore we missed naration.
Speaker system did not work. Therefore we missed naration. 😞
Response from the operator: Aloha, and mahalo for letting us know. We’re truly sorry that the speaker system was not working properly during your tour and that you missed the narration as a result. We completely understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when the stories, history, and information shared by our guides are such an important part of the experience. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will make sure this feedback is shared with our team so we can address the equipment and help prevent this from happening to future guests. Mahalo for your understanding, and we hope we have the opportunity to provide you with the full Aloha Sunshine Tours experience in the future. 🌺🤙 With aloha, The Aloha Sunshine Tours ʻOhana

Great way to see the island
Our trip was more like 8 hours than the advertised 10 - 11 hours. We assume this was because of less traffic in a Sunday. Noise from the air conditioner made it very difficult to hear the guide.
Response from the operator: Aloha, and mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your tour felt shorter than the advertised 10–11 hours and, more importantly, that the noise from the air conditioning made it difficult to hear your guide. We completely understand how frustrating that can be, especially when you’re taking a tour to learn about and experience Hawaiʻi. Traffic conditions can certainly affect the amount of time spent traveling between locations, but we understand that our advertised tour duration sets an expectation for the overall experience. We’ll take your comments into consideration as we continue reviewing our scheduling and itinerary. We’re especially grateful that you brought the A/C noise to our attention. Clear communication between our guides and guests is extremely important to us, and we’ll be addressing this with our team so that guests can hear the narration and stories throughout the journey. Mahalo again for helping us identify where we can do better. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope we’ll have another opportunity to provide you with the experience you were expecting. With aloha, The Aloha Sunshine Tours ʻOhana 🌺🤙

Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 89 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 2,850 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki?
+
Around 997 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Oahu Grand Circle Island Experience from Waikiki start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour, Oahu Majestic Circle Island Tour with Waimea Falls and Byodo Inn. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
