We flew overnight with Vietnam Airlines from London to Hanoi, returning in the early hours after five weeks travelling. Hanoi airport is modern, well managed and effective despite the vast throngs of people who flood through arrivals and departures 24 hours a day. The toilets were clean but the eating options quite limited and very expensive. $2 US for a small can of beers seemed a bit pricey. However, passport control and baggage check in were smooth and efficient. This is a great jumping off point to explore south east Asia.

Very good service

This was a Very good service. On time, easy to find at the airport let. Large vehicle, clean, safe driver. I used on New Year’s Eve because I was worried. I wouldn’t be able to get a taxi.

A Reliable Transfer Company that Cares

I recently used Hanoi Airport Transfer Company for my travel needs on recent holiday. I found the entire experience very professional and safe. The office staff spoke fluent English and answered my calls on time every time. The quality of cars used are fantastic, clean and new. The drivers I had spoke varying degrees of English but enough to have a pleasant conversation. I was picked up at Hanoi Airport on time and met with my sign, this took a lot of pressure off me. After a pleasant trip to my hotel I used their services 3 more times. I was taken to Ninh Binh and later on to Halong Bay. The drivers were always ready for me and their level of safe driving was a breath of fresh air. I spoke to the office staff a few times and they were very easy to deal with. The pricing is very favourable considering the hassle is taken away from using public transport. I highly recommend Hanoi Airport Transfer Company.

Shocking customer service

Booked a taxi from our hotel to Hanoi airport around 24 hours before we needed it. Received confirmation of the booking (screenshot it as standard), and confirmed payment with my bank. When the time came when the taxi was due, it didn’t turn up. I was aware that traffic was bad, so waited almost 15 minutes before trying to call only to get an automated message telling me the number was temporarily out of service. I then messaged the company via WhatsApp, sending them the screen shot of my booking, to be asked my name, where I was, was I already at the airport and to eventually be told they didn’t have my booking. Not once did they apologise or offer to rectify their mistake by sending a car. Luckily, we’d allowed plenty of time to get to the airport and instead used the Grab app which sent a car almost immediately.

Response from the operator: Dear Shelly V, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We sincerely apologize for the system error causing you to take alternate means to the airport at short notice. When you called and sent us information we checked immediately, there was no booking visible in our system because we did not receive it directly. On investigation we found out that you had booked through the Viator page, and the system failed to send your booking to us. We have notified Viator and refunded the money to your card. We always expect customers to book directly through us, the price will be better, faster and easier to check. We always give customers our hotline number and reply email number for comment as soon as possible. Beyond the call of duty

We want to thank Jolie and the driver she assigned to us for exceptional service during these troubling times (Covid 19) As flights got cancelled and more control measures kicked in, Jolie was ever responsive and accommodating, ensuring that we could make the best of our time in Hanoi and Sapa. Truly great service attitude. We hope to return to Sapa and Hanoi again and would definitely not hesitate to engage Jolie and her team again. Keep it up and stay safe!
