This magnificent Baroque masterpiece, founded in 1330 by Holy Roman Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian, was originally built for a group of knights and a community of Benedictine monks. To this day, the monastery remains active—you'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the monks, whose traditions have continued here for nearly 700 years. Excellent Guide and Tour
Sepp is exceptional! What a wonderful guide and someone who made us feel special and well taken care of. He went above and beyond to make the drive comfortable and the experience fun and informational. We laughed and enjoyed his company the entire time.
