Great Night Sky Spectacle
Our first night in Iceland we lucked into a great northern lights hunt. Our guide Kristinn brought us to the perfect spot to see a beautiful night sky show. You could tell his enthusiasm for northern lights. He expertly took pictures through out the night to share with us. I would recommend and definitely do it again.

Northern Lights
Overall, it was a great experience. Their customer service helped my friend cancel after a very serious family emergency situation. They also rebooked me seamlessly to another night after my original tour was canceled due to rain. My driver/ tour leader was a bit gruff and appeared to lie to me about the bus stops (long story). However, the tour experience was much better than the large bus Northern Lights tour I tried on a different evening. I would definitely be willing to do this again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Epic Northern Lights Tour — and an even more epic guide!
What an unforgettable experience with SuperJeep.is! Our guide Krissi was an absolute legend — driver, photographer, scientist (I’m still not sure which one more 😄), and a walking encyclopedia of aurora knowledge. He explained everything about how the Northern Lights work — from solar flares to magnetospheres — with such passion that even my 11-year-old son was hooked. We not only saw incredible lights but also got amazing photos — both from Krissi’s camera and my own (I’m a photographer myself, so that’s saying something!). I also loved how honest and professional the company was: our tour the night before was cancelled because the conditions weren’t good. Some companies would have gone anyway just to tick a box, but SuperJeep values the experience — and it paid off! The next night was absolutely spectacular. Bonus tip from Krissi: he even suggested a secret location near the airport for another night, and it turned out fabulous — we saw the lights again! If you want a real aurora experience — with experts who actually care and know their stuff — go with SuperJeep. Great Jeep and Hunted The Lights
They try really hard to find the Northen Lights. The jeeps were amazing and comfortable and just to go off road in the snow was a great experience. Vester our driver was brilliant and funny. While we were sat in middle the back seats seemed spacious. Wonderful that we could rebook to try again if we didn't see the lights. They are a great team and the hot chocolate was a nice touch. We saw large coaches parked waiting for the lights in one location. We went to several and saw them twice albeit harder with naked eye better on camera. They are soo elusive so manage your expectations it is purely natures gift if you see them.

Fantastic but jolly cold!
We were picked up from our Hotel in the most amazing monstrous custom built truck, went on to collect 4 other people before heading off to meet the rest of the Superjeep tour. Our driver ( l am so sorry, l cannot remember your name ) was fabulous. I just love the self deprecating Icelandic humour! We were kept amused all the way. The lights were being very shy that night, which was disappointing, but no-one can control mother nature. The hot chocolate was very welcome as we were freezing our butts off in an icefield. Only wish now that in retrospect l had had some of the Reyko Vodka as well! Please do wrap up super warmly folks, you may be standing in an icefield for 3-4 hours and that is no joke. Forget fashion statements and be sensible. Try not to drink too much before setting off at about 20:00 as there are no toilet facilities, ladies, you will know what l mean, not so difficult for men. Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves despite the Dancing Ladies being shy and not really showing. Superjeep.is has offered a free trip out within the next year as long as we quote our booking number, which is nice. Photos are free and they are happy to provide them for you on Facebook. The trip may not be cheap, but l considered it well worth it, rather than be stuck on a coach with goodness knows how many people. Also the terrain is not really suitable for coaches, especially if you need to go off road to see the lights. Enjoy and happy hunting!
