Excellent tour!
Excellent tour! Our guide for the morning was the brilliant Alex who was great at explaining everything, giving personal anecdotes and a local perspective on the city. It really was the best way to see Medellín! We learnt a lot about the history of Communa 13, without it being overly dramatised! Alex took us for coffee at one of the coffee bars, which was also great. The cable car part of the tour was interesting and a brilliant way to see more of the city. On our way back to the hotel Alex then took us around some more of the city to see different parts, giving his brilliant commentary, and some recommendations for dinner and what else to do with our time in Medellin, as we went! All in all a fantastic tour!

MOST COMPLETY CITY TOUR OF MEDELLÍN
MOST COMPLETE CITY TOUR OF MEDELLIN! We traveled a few weeks ago to Medellín with a group of friends, and used The Andes Adventure company to take a City Tour of Medellín. We were blown away, our guide Carlos was friendly, passionate, knowledgeable and loved his city completely, had a very comfortable and nice SUV, and showed us parts that we didn't see on other tour descriptions, like Parques del Río, Palacio Nacional, we walked through a bustling street called Carabobo, packed with commerce and locals walking around, visited a Farmer's Market where it was full with colors, flowers, food and delicious exotic fruits. It also included a Cable Car ride over the hoods of Medellín and Comuna 13 that was out of this world, beautiful murals and graffitis in every corner telling stories of their past and transformation, but definitely the highlight was our guide, it felt like he was an old friend showing us the city, very flexible on times since we loved to take some pictures and videos of everything!! Very Very recommended if you wish to see the most of Medellín and unique places, where one can really immerse in the local culture and understand the history.

How far in advance should I book Private Medellín City Tour + Comuna 13 & Cable Car Ride!?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
