Shanghai Zoo is a large-scale state-level zoo. There are not only animals from China, such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, South China tigers, Manchurian tigers, Yangtze alligators, elks, but also animals from all over the world, such as giraffe, kangaroo, penguin, hippopotamus, sea lion and the like. You will visit the giant pandas in the Carnivore zone. The giant panda area is fan-shaped, where an indoor exhibition area and an outside playground can be seen. This 468 meters high tower is the world's sixth and China's second tallest TV and radio tower. However, even more alluring than its height is the unique architectural design that makes Oriental Pearl Tower one of the most attractive places anywhere. You will visit the Municipal History Museum which is located in the tower's pedestal. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower consists of three main full-scope sightseeing spheres. Each of these spheres offers an observation deck. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view of Shanghai at different heights. We will take an elevator up to glass-bottomed sightseeing floor at 259 meters and the main sightseeing floor at 263 meters. It is memorable to walk on it and enjoy a 360° view of the Huangpu River and buildings on both sides of the river.

The Bund (Wai Tan)
The Bund is the famous waterfront on the west bank of the Huangpu River and is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. Here, the charm of Shanghai as a bustling metropolis combining the century-old history and flourishing future is fully presented, making the Bund Shanghai a must-see attraction. We will see the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles at the Bund, such as Peace Hotel, Shanghai Customs House and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. Excellent tour!
The team did a great job of communications up to the day of the tour. Emails and queries flowed easily and kept everyone on track. My guide called me the night before an confirmed the tour and time for pick up. I went down to the lobby early and the driver was already there with a sign with my name on it. Off we went, and was communicating with my guide the entire route (about an hour). Upon arrival, Jenny was there and greeted me and explained that we needed to go! Seems while she was waiting for me to arrive, several buses full of children arrived and were blocking the entrance! She maneuvered through the mob like an expert and had us past the crowd in no time. It was an extremely rainy day, and Jenny recommended that we try organize our tour to buildings and cities till the rain let up and we wouldn't be stuck out of doors in a down pour. Things worked out perfect as we finished up lunch at a Michelin star dumpling place (phenomenal food) and worked our way through town and off to the zoo. The zoo highlights for me were the red pandas and the butterfly collection. It was a very nice zoo, well maintained and a tad hot so the giant pandas were hanging out in their closures sleeping it off. Jenny was well versus in Shanghai and provide a wealth of information about the city and the places we visited. My snack selections were meat based, and the first one (pork belly) was incredible! I still think of it to this day and can taste its goodness. Upon completion, Jenny got me back in the car and off to the hotel. I had a wonderful time and cannot recommend this company enough & especially Jenny!
