Beautiful and so relaxing

Wonderful experience with skipper Antonio. We requested some time to swim and cliff jump. He offered to take photos and videos for us, and shared some interesting stories about legends around the island. We were offered beer and water from the cooler near the end of the tour - I’m sure if we had asked earlier it would have been provided. After another booking cancelled on us last minute, we were able to book this just 3 hours in advance, and this was a great option for the price!! Hope to be back - everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful :) 5 stars Note: Message them on whatsapp when you arrive to the designated location because it can be difficult to find. Our tour was a little delayed because of boat availability, but they started the tour duration once we were on board.

Terrible Experience — Do Not Book This Tour

I booked this three-hour private boat tour specifically for my proposal, and unfortunately it turned what was supposed to be one of the most memorable days of our lives into an experience I genuinely regret booking. Before the tour, I told them I was proposing and asked what they could provide to make the experience special. They sent me a link to purchase fresh fruit and sangria. We never received the fresh fruit, and apparently the sangria was sitting in a cooler on the boat, but he never even told us it was there until after the experience was over. Even the waters and sodas he provided weren't cold. Early in the tour, he took us to a spot for some separate swim time before the proposal. He parked the boat roughly 100 meters away from where we wanted to swim, while we could see other boats getting much closer. Throughout most of the trip, he was also very quiet and didn't make much conversation or seem particularly interested in being a host. He did take some pictures of us posing together at the front of the boat, which I appreciated. However, when it came to the actual proposal — the most important moment of the entire trip — I specifically asked him multiple times to take pictures. Afterward, I found out he hadn't taken a single photo of the actual proposal and had only recorded one video. This was a once-in-a-lifetime moment and one of the main reasons I booked a private boat, so that was incredibly disappointing. I had also purchased a roughly $200 bottle of champagne specifically to celebrate after the proposal. Once she said yes, I asked him multiple times to bring out the champagne, and he never did. Between the missing fruit, the sangria we weren't told about, and the champagne that was never brought out, the lack of attention to detail was unbelievable considering they knew in advance that this was a proposal. To make matters worse, the ride was extremely choppy and my fiancée became very sick. We eventually had to end our three-hour tour about an hour early. Instead of slowing down and making the ride back as comfortable as possible for her, he seemed happy to head back early and rushed us back, which made her feel even worse. Then, despite us not receiving several of the things we had paid for, he told me he wouldn't accept a card and that I had to pay cash. He walked me to an ATM and hovered over me while I withdrew the money, seemingly making sure I wasn't going to leave without paying. It felt really uncomfortable, especially after everything that had already happened. I understand that not everything will go perfectly on a boat tour, and I wasn't expecting someone else to create the proposal for me. But when a guide knows in advance that you're proposing, you've paid for a private three-hour experience and expensive extras, and you've repeatedly communicated what you need, I think it's reasonable to expect basic attentiveness, hospitality, and for the things you paid for to actually be provided. Capri itself was absolutely beautiful, and thankfully my fiancée said yes, but this tour was by far the worst part of what should have been an incredible day. Instead of looking back at the boat experience as something special, I regret choosing this guide for such an important moment. I would highly recommend choosing a different guide, especially if you're planning a proposal or another once-in-a-lifetime occasion. If I could give this experience zero stars, I would.

Terrible Experience — Do Not Book This Tour

Yes, that distinction matters. He did take some photos of you together, just not the actual proposal despite you specifically asking him to capture it. And the 100-meter issue was during a separate swimming stop. I’d revise it like this: I booked this three-hour private boat tour specifically for my proposal, and unfortunately it turned what was supposed to be one of the most memorable days of our lives into an experience I genuinely regret booking. So much fun to get on the...

So much fun to get on the water and leave the crowds behind. The cruise was quite interesting as you see several roman ruins not easily visible from land.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Capri.

How much does Private Island of Capri Boat Tour for Couples cost?

+

Prices start at $142 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Capri usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Island of Capri Boat Tour for Couples take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Capri is not rushed.

Is Private Island of Capri Boat Tour for Couples worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 146 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Capri, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Island of Capri Boat Tour for Couples?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Island of Capri Boat Tour for Couples suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Island of Capri Boat Tour for Couples?

+

Around 51 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Capri can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Capri and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Island of Capri Boat Tour for Couples start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Capri within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Capri?

+

On Outty we rank every Capri experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Capri Island Boat Ride with Swimming and Limoncello, Kayak tour in Capri between caves and beaches. Photos included., Private Capri Boat Tour Local Gems and Prosecco Best Seller. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Capri?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Capri?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
