Excellent guided tour of the falls

Ricardo/Richard met us at the Argentinian airport and took us over the border to our hotel in Brazil. He explained the procedure and we got through smoothly. He took us back to the Argentinian side of the falls the next day and was very knowledgeable with great English. He also arranged a helicopter flight for us which was the icing on the cake. Thank you Richard, you made our trip to the falls very enjoyable. I would highly recommend.

Response from the operator: It was a real pleasure meeting you and helping make your trip smooth and enjoyable. I’m glad everything went well at the border and that you had a great experience on both sides of the falls. And I agree—the helicopter flight really is something special! 🚁 I truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again someday. Wishing you many more amazing trips ahead!

Private tour for both side of iguazu falls in a day or 2 at your own pace.

We are a group of 8 seniors. This was our first time visiting Iguazu. Richard the tour guy was really great. Started from booking the tour, purchasing the entrance tickets, picking up our group of 8 from the airport, to the day of touring both side of the Iguazu falls. Even though we have changed our itineraries a couple of times. He was patient and was able to provide us with recommendation. Our whole group enjoyed his service a lot. I liked the communication with him through WhatsApp as soon as I booked the tour, and he was able to confirm the size of the vehicle with pic to ensure me it’s big enough for our 16 pieces of big and hand carry baggage and we still could sit comfortably in the vehicle. This was our biggest concern. I appreciate his professionalism and experience, and I would highly recommend his service to anyone for this tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a real pleasure guiding your group and helping with the whole trip. I’m very happy to hear that everyone enjoyed the experience and felt comfortable during the tour. I truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in the future! 😊

    Amazing Iguazu Falls experience!

We have had the experience of a lifetime, Richard has looked after us so well, he was extremely good company over 3 days. He adapted our trips due to weather conditions and he organised helicopter fights and boat trips around the Falls as well as an evening dinner and show. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Well done Ricardo xx

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure spending these days with you and being part of your experience. I’m very happy to know everything was perfect and that you enjoyed the tours, the helicopter flight, the boat trip, and the dinner show.

Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Iguazu.

How much does Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day cost?

    +

Prices start at $3000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Iguazu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Iguazu is not rushed.

Is Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Iguazu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Iguazu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Iguazu and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Iguazu Falls Tour: Brazil & Argentina in one VIP Day start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Iguazu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Puerto Iguazu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Puerto Iguazu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small group Falls Both Sides - Argentina and Brazil, Best Private Tour Iguassu Falls Brazil, Argentina in 1 day, Argentine Experience: Immersive Dinner & Wine Pairing in Iguazú. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Puerto Iguazu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Puerto Iguazu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
