Private Trip to the Iguazú Falls – Argentine side Join me on an unforgettable day trip to the impressive Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side – one of South America’s most spectacular natural wonders. Both sides – Brazilian and Argentine – are breathtakingly beautiful, but the best view of the famous Garganta del Diablo waterfall awaits you on the Argentine side. Here you stand right on the edge of the massive waterfall, which plunges from about 90 meters into the depths. On about 8.7 kilometers of well-developed hiking trails you will discover the diverse beauty of the national park : tropical rainforest, imposing views and the pure power of water. Experience nature at its most spectacular – up close, intense and unforgettable.

    Know before you go

    • Wheelchair accessible
    • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
    • Public transportation options are available nearby
    • Specialized infant seats are available
    • Transportation options are wheelchair accessible
    • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
    • So my tip: try to be there a few minutes before the park opens.
    • The morning temperatures are more pleasant for customers who are not used to the subtropical climate.
    • The park opens at 08:00 local time and closes at 16:00.
    • I therefore always recommend leaving early to avoid traffic jams.
    • Please note that no animals may be fed or touched!!!
    • After redeeming the tickets, after a few hundred meters you will arrive at the central train station, from where a train, natural gas-powered locomotive with open passenger cars, leaves the station every 15 minutes for the various hiking trails, three in total. Since the maximum speed is 7km/h, it is great for taking photos. and make films while driving, or just enjoy the breathtaking nature with its unique flora and fauna.
    • Trails such as Devil's Throat and Upper Trail are suitable even for those with walking aids or wheelchairs as the walkways are built flat across the upper course of the Iguacu River.
    • The lower trail includes around 180 steps and therefore requires a little more physical strength.
    • Light shoes with non-slip soles are recommended for the hikes.
    • Please note that my tours are not marathons, but serve to give the customer enough time to take in the whole thing so that they can also enjoy it.
    • If you are not planning a longer trip to Argentina, I advise you not to exchange a lot of money, since the Argentine peso has lost much of its value and is not accepted everywhere in Brazil.
    • Washrooms, toilets, bars, bistros and restaurants can be found at almost all stations.

    Excellent private tour and guide

We had an amazing day with Willian on our tour around iguazu falls. He picked us up and told us about the history of the parks and the area. He took us to the area where Brazilian, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. Since it was a private tour, he adjusted to our wants and needs. Even though it rained some, we still had a great day in the park. Definitely book your tour with Willian and you won’t be disappointed.

    Knowledgeable and professional guide

Guide was very knowledgeable and related many facts and figures and history as well as flora and fauna during the tour. Although the trails for the falls are fairly straightforward, he did have us go to the upper trail first which was the right call.

    Highly recommend it! Best tour

Cristina and Rodrigo gave us the best Iguazú experience we could have asked for! Cristina guided us on the Argentinian side and Rodrigo on the Brazilian side, and both were absolutely fantastic. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the falls, the local culture and the history of the area. There was genuinely no question they couldn’t answer. Communication with them was also excellent and very efficient from the beginning, which made everything incredibly easy and well organized. They were friendly, attentive and made the whole experience feel very personal. The pace of both tours was perfect, relaxed enough to really enjoy the scenery and take pictures, while still making the most of our time. It was absolutely worth it, and we couldn’t recommend this experience (and especially Cristina and Rodrigo) enough!

    Rodrigo made the day unforgettable

Rodrigo was fantastic, he is so knowledgeable and knows the falls inside & out so he took us to the best spots/quiet parts first and saw a gorgeous rainbow the whole time. He also was good at spotting birds & told us information on the floral & fauna. It was just a great day!

Wonderful way to see Iguazu Argentina

Willian was great! Picked us up on time and moved us through each phase of the tour smoothly without hurry. We never felt like the pace was too slow or too fast. We did the boat tour, took the train to see Devil’s Throat (this cost extra), and had time for snacks and resting. He shared information about the park and the animals and about the history of the area. We really enjoyed the day and highly recommend this excursion.

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
