Tame Ride Through Forest to the Beach

Very overpriced for what you get. Hubby wanted to do this so I agreed. A Mercedes Benz van picked us up at the hotel and drove us to the stables. We rode at a walk through the forest and onto the beach. It's very tame. Our guide is walking in front, that gives you an idea of the speed. They can't take a chance on someone falling, I get that. You are paying for convenience and comfort. I would never have booked this, it's not the money, it's the value. We went to the beach on 2 other occasions. The beach is gorgeous and the town beautiful. You will have to explore the beach on your own since the driver will take you back to your hotel.

The description also clearly states that the experience includes comfortable round-trip transportation by Mercedes-Benz, bottled water, phone chargers, and recommendations and advice on how to spend your time in Riga. In other words, the service you received was exactly what was described and included in the product you selected. We fully understand that a leisurely ride may not be exciting enough for everyone. However, if you are looking for a faster or more adventurous riding experience, we strongly recommend choosing the appropriate riding option rather than booking a leisurely walk and then being disappointed that it was exactly as advertised. Insulting

I contacted Riga with Us regarding a horse back ride. When I got the price it was three times higher than any other stables around. I pointed this out to them and received two insulting emails in reply. The last one called me a "penny-pincher", see the attached screenshot. Not a customer service organization. I found a different stable and had a wonder afternoon at a third the price.

We also offered an alternative forest horseback riding option at a substantially lower price. Despite these explanations, you continued to characterize our services as overpriced and of poor quality without having experienced them. At that point, it became clear that our offer did not match your expectations, and the conversation came to an end without a booking being made. It is important to note that you did not participate in any tour or activity organized by our company. Therefore, the review is based solely on a disagreement regarding pricing rather than on an actual service experience. Checked off the bucket list

This was a bucket list kind of experience: Ride on the beach in a different country. fun but more geared towards beginner riders. A bit pricey but guides were good: on time, courteous and kind.

Beautyful horse riding by the sea

Despite they were quit busy Vadim manage to schedule for me last day in Riga. It was a great experience riding by the sea. The horses are looking good and well cared for and was very easy and nice to ride. Both the girl from the stable and the guide was kind to take pictures as memories. I was picked up at hotel, the stable is appr. 30 minutes drive from Riga and Vadim was nice providing information about the surroundings and also additional tip about what to see and experience in Riga. Very good experience, would for sure book again if I visit Riga in the future.

'Riga with us' ruined my Girlfriend's Birthday

It is now the morning of my Girlfriend's Birthday, we had booked through Viator to go Horse Riding at 11:00 with this 'company' 'Riga with us' and after having the first 2 hours of our morning wasted our with excuses of how 11:00 wouldn't work and blaming the weather, it has now been cancelled. Interactions from the start with this company have been questionable from the start. It initially showed up when I searched for horse riding at Jurmala, once booked though I looked for the exact address as we had other events booked in Jurmala and could not find 1. When I contacted the company for an exact address I was told it was not in Jurmala but in Vecāki (50 minutes away) and still I got no exact address. We rescheduled our plans in Jurmala to make the time work. Then last night (the night before our booking) I decided to contact again to get an exact location as we still had none and then the stories started. Today is blue skies and sun and the operator initially said that he could not do 11:00 as it was windy and cold. Anyone used to being out on a horse would find this a strange reason. We were then asked if we could do 10:00 to which we said yes. Then he said 13:00 at which point I called as this would not work. The operator was rude and patronising. He had no solution and hung up. He then called back and asked if 12:00 would work, we said yes and then within 10 minutes received an email from Viator saying it was cancelled. This 'company' is a sham and has just ruined our day. Company called 'Riga with us' initially offered a service that came up under Horse Riding at Jurmala, but there was no address.

We allways had found a solution, but only if Guest respects our employees. Our manager answered your email immediately at 11:30 p.m. We had complaints on bad weather before, such as strong wind or rain before and the forecast was like that. If it’s ok with you we are ok. Calling and yelling on the day of event is not the best way of communication, it is unprofessional and unrespectful. We refuse to provide service to the unrespectful guests, we are not slaves here.
