    See Croatia from the locals!

My wife and I went on this tour during our honeymoon and let me say it was a beautiful experience. From the start we felt the hospitality from Karlo as he not only drove us from location to location but shared his experiences, knowledge, and passion for traveling along the way! The tour took us to places we surely would have missed out on if we tried to do it on our own. Karlo was a great host and we hope to meet again in the future, perhaps for a new itinerary!

Response from the operator: Dear Kirolos, Thank you for finding the time to write this wonderful review. You and Joyce were absolutely lovely. I enjoyed your company and it made me happy I could show you our customs, traditions, and of course the wine of the region. Have a wonderful stay in Croatia and congrats on the wedding! :) Until next time. Kind regards, Karlo from Bespoke Croatia

Wonderful tour with fabulous food and wine

We had a wonderful day with Karlo. His English was excellent. His love of his own country and endless curiosity about other places and cultures (especially movies) made our conversation completely engaging and entertaining. The entire day was very relaxing and enjoyable. Food and wine were delicious!

    All Encompassing Wine Tour

This tour was absolutely amazing! We got to see so much in just a day. Karlo is the best guide I have ever had and he went above and beyond to make our day special. Along with learning some really interesting historical facts, we got to experience some Croatian culture, wine and food. The wine tour itself was very well done and all of the wine was delicious. We were also served an amazing charcuterie board. The location of the vineyard, which we got to see as well, had absolutely breathtaking views. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, or any other tours that Karlo offers, he is the best!

Response from the operator: Dear Sofia, Our third tour was a great way to celebrate Kenton's birthday. The day couldn't have been more perfect and our hosts in the winery did a great job. I am happy you enjoyed all the aspects of the tour. Thank you once more and will be looking forward to meeting you either in Canada or back in Croatia. Wishing you many happy travels. Kind regards, Karlo from Bespoke Croatia

A great day - from a repeat customer!

This full-day tour encompasses so much that is Croatia, like pleasant people, diverse scenery, history, local food, and wine! To start, it is a nice treat to have a private driver. One that picks clients up and drops them off. There was no stress nor confusion, just sit back and enjoy the day. The Samobor region is beautiful and cannot be missed! The old townsite has amazing views, and the current town is just as impressive. The guide, Karlo, is kind, fun, and knowledgeable. He tactfully shares his insights and provides historical context throughout the day. The wine-tasting experience cannot be understated, this is not a commercial type tour but a truly historical family-run winery. The wine was delicious, the host was outstanding and sincerely proud of their products. The diversity of wine provided in the tour was just as remarkable. The scenery you enjoy overlooks the entire valley with rolling hills and vineyards. It is a very unique experience, and the charcuterie is local. Karlo is a true Croatian, he loves profiling his country, makes his clients feel welcome, and is full of historical information. I enjoy how he plans every detail and personalizes his tours. I have used Bespoke Croatian Tours several times and have recommended it to friends who echo my comments. I trust Karlo completely and know our family members will have a memorable time on their upcoming trip to Zagreb in May 2024. Ryan (from Canada)

Response from the operator: Dear Ryan! I love the fact we have established such a relationship that you keep coming back to Croatia and always use our services. Thank you for all the support. It came to a point we had to celebrate this unique relationship and friendship with what better than by wonderful wine tasting experience. Yet another great day. Thank you for everything and look forward to seeing you again, either in Croatia or in Canada. All the best to you and your family. Kind regards, Karlo from Bespoke Croatia

Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zagreb.

How much does Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb cost?

    +

Prices start at $307 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zagreb usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zagreb is not rushed.

Is Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Zagreb, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zagreb can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zagreb and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private hedonistic food and wine experience from Zagreb start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zagreb within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zagreb?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zagreb experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Communism & Croatian Homeland War Tour, Zagreb Highlights: Old Town, WWII tunnels, Funicular & Tastings, Old Zagreb Private Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zagreb?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zagreb?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
