    Beautiful day

Martina was a delightful guide, very knowledgeable and helpful. She had lots of great things to share to help us learn about Croatia, and somehow managed to juggle both the fast and the slow people in our group to keep everyone more or less together. She was excellent at adding in Croatian stories about the area too- that was my favorite part! The park itself is breathtaking. The waters are so blue, so clear... It was a great experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Martina made your experience so enjoyable with her knowledge, helpfulness, and engaging stories about Croatia. We’re also glad you had the chance to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the park and its crystal-clear blue waters. We wish you a nice stay in Croatia!

    Great guide great day trip

One of the best tours I have ever done. Myself and a Swedish mom / 2 adult daughters group (4) of us had the extreme fortune to have Rose as our guide. She really engaged with us and kept us going at a great pace but allowing us plenty of time to see and do everything. Being a smaller group gave us so much personal service. It was like an old friend showing us the sights.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a memorable experience at Plitvice Lakes. It’s especially lovely to hear how much you enjoyed having Rose as your guide and that she made you feel so welcome and well looked after. We’re sure she’ll be thrilled to know you felt like an old friend was showing you around. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to see you back in the future!

    It's a Good Hike

The views are spectacular and the hike is great! Our guide knew a lot of information she shared with us. I'd recommend to pack a lunch and lots of water as the rest stops are short, time wise, and the queues long. It's also quite the hike towards the end. Overall a lovely time.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the spectacular views, the hike, and your guide's knowledge and insights throughout the experience. We also appreciate your helpful tips about bringing a packed lunch and plenty of water. Preparing well can make the day even more enjoyable. Thank you for choosing to spend day with us!

Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zagreb.

How much does Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zagreb usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zagreb is not rushed.

Is Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 1,024 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Zagreb, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb?

    +

Around 358 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zagreb can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zagreb and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Plitvice Lakes with Ticket & Rastoke Guided Tour from Zagreb start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zagreb within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zagreb?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zagreb experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Communism & Croatian Homeland War Tour, Zagreb Highlights: Old Town, WWII tunnels, Funicular & Tastings, Old Zagreb Private Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zagreb?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zagreb?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
