Half Day Walking Tour
Mike met us at our Airbnb. We had a fantastic tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and a very interesting guy. It was great having a private tour as we were able to go at our own pace, ask lots of questions and stop for a coffee when we needed to ! Thanks Mike for such a great introduction to a wonderful city. We absolutely recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much! I love to hear such words! And it always warms me! Thank you for giving sense to what I am doing! Take care and safe travels!

Half day walking tour of Prague
My kids and I were on time at the meeting place as stated in the ticket but then I got a call from the tour operator to let us know that our guide was waiting for us in a different location. We were not explained why. 20 minutes later, Judit showed up. She was very nice and apologetic She asked us what did we want to see but when I mentioned the Jewish quarter, she said not possible because she could not be our guide inside the cemetery Then she took us through different streets and buildings through the old and new town. Unfortunately, she spoke very broken English and we could not follow the descriptions or explanations on most of the sites. We also found a four hour walking tour too long- perhaps three hours would have been enough for this kind of tour.
Response from the operator: Maria, I am very sorry about your unpleasant experience. Please let me respond. 1) The location was stated wrong on the ticket and it was already being solved by the IT dept. of TripAdvisor. I'm sure the operator explained it (maybe just shortly so as not to spend too much money on your roaming fees) and apologized as well as the guide. I am really sorry about this. 2) The Jewish quarter is very strict about their guides and only guides with a special license can guide inside the synagogues. This tour is NOT a tour of the interiors of the Jewish Quarter nor it was specifically requested before the tour start (so we could arrange for that). 3) I am very sorry about the English, we might need to stop working with Judit. I will reevaluate her English skills. She has gotten some 5* reviews though. 4) We do 3-hour tours, 4-hour tours and even 7 or 8 hours. I guess this is really just a matter of taste and the length of the tour is stated in the description. Personally I think 4 hours is just a perfect time to manage to see all the highlights of Prague in a quick overview. I wish you the best and safe travels. Mike

Great tour, learned a lot
I did a private tour about six years ago during a work trip to Prague. I wanted to repeat the experience for my wife and kids. This tour met the mark. We spend three hours in the old town area. My kids loved it and I learned a lot despite having spent quite a lot of time in this city since my first trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your nice words! I will forward these to your guide, she will be very pleased! I'm glad you had a good time! Thank you again and have a great new year! :)

"Just what we were looking for!"
After traveling for several weeks and experiencing large tour groups, my husband and I were looking for something more relaxed and personal on our first day in Prague. Martin was exactly what we were hoping for. He met us outside our AirBnB and spent the next four hours showing us around this beautiful city. It gave us the confidence to explore on our own afterward. Spending time with Martin was like being with a good friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him, and came away felling much more comfortable with the city.
Response from the operator: Many thanks for your review! I am glad I could make your stay in Prague memorable! Thank you again, we'll be happy to welcome you soon again! :)

Absolutely PERFECT! Don't miss this opportunity!
We did invest quite some time in searching for the right solution for our family (2 adults, 15-year old boy with big culture and high interest in history, and 12-year old girl with very different interests, still "little"), but it was worth the effort as Martin (Private Tours Prague) was the perfect match to our needs! The possibility to have a guide "all for yourself" offering a custom-sized tour for a affordable amount of money is absolutely great! We had been in Prague since a couple of days already and then toured with Martin for 3 hours to visit those places we wished to know more about, things about which our two guide books couldn't satisfy us. Martin is "easy" and relaxed, patient and adapting to any request, very well informed both from a historical as a social and cultural point of view on his city, is open and shares some private stories which enrich and make unforgettable the "feeling" we got with Prague. We absolutely warmly recommend!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the warm review! I m really glad you had a good time and I was able to make your stay in Prague memorable!

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague cost?
+
Prices start at $13 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Half Day Walking Tour – Walking Tour Prague start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
