Friendly and knowledgeable guide, lovely day trip
Michal was a wonderful guide with an easy going personality and knowledgeable and fun facts. The moser glass factory was nice to see, and the town of karlovy vary was quite beautiful. This was a lovely day trip away from Prague. I wish we had weeks to stay and enjoy the spa experiences!
Response from the operator: It’s always a pleasure to share the beauty of Karlovy Vary and the craftsmanship of masters at Moser - our Mercedes among the bohemian crystal. I agree, a few weeks there wouldn’t be too much at all—so much to relax and enjoy! You need to become client of a Czech healthcare insurance company so it will be prescribed to you! :) It was great spending the day with you, and I hope you’ll get the chance to come back and soak in those spa experiences next time. Greetings from Prague Michal

Lovely excursion
2 hour drive from Prague to karlovy vary with a stop at the moser glass factory. Short tour but I could have watched the glass making for longer. A walk through the town center of karlovy vary and lunch there was lovely. Not enough time to do anything within any of the spas or go for an hike in the surrounding hills. Our guide Michal was friendly and quite knowledgeable.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! I’m really glad you enjoyed the visit to the Moser glassworks and the walk through Karlovy Vary—it’s such a unique and elegant town to explore. I completely understand wanting more time to dive deeper into the spa experience or take in the surrounding nature—there’s certainly a lot to see and do there! The ideal time to spend there is days / weeks but in case of a special interest I'm always ready to adjust the day trip to your desires so you can enjoy some of the local treatments or a hike in the beautiful nature surrounding the city. It was a pleasure guiding you, and I appreciate your kind words. Greetings from Prague Michal

Why this scores 58

Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl.: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl. cost?
+
Prices start at $143 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl. take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl.?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl. suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl.?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Karlovy Vary trip from Prague with glassworks All-Incl. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
