We were happy and satisfied!!!
We had a great tourguide on this tour, he was very kind , sympathetic and professional. Also had a good luck for a nice weather. This tpur is great for some basic orientation, to get some brief introduction about the country and the city - covering major sights and mainly tailor-made. We were happy and satisfied!!!
Response from the operator: Dear travelers. Thank you for your very kind review and we wish you all the best to your future travels. Sincerely Lukas Vraz, Customer relations manager - Spectrum Tours

Request a Specific Guide
Worst guide we’ve ever had. He proceeded to share his racist and biased opinions all throughout the tour. He shared many inaccurate facts rather than just saying he didn’t know. We ended the tour early. Be cautious and request a specific guide based on the names in others good reviews.
Response from the operator: This was obviously not our guide / tour. This looks like some mistake... According to our information no tour was ended earlier. Looks like the mistconception is difference between our company and Viator. We receive mainly 5* reviews ans are in this business for more than 10 years...

Very pleasant afternoon in Prague!
We saw Vysehrad and New Town on this tour + some gardens and parks (Amazing! Great for shooting cool pics!! :-)) Liked the local "Speakers corner" :-D, Dancing House, the old railway bridge + feeding swans and ducks at the river with that weird name (honestly: Vltava is not an ideal opton for pronounciation!!) Our guide was very patient and knowledgeable (and spoke perfectly German). Greetings from Vienna again, Mark!! :-))
Response from the operator: Dear travelers. Thank you for your nice review. :-) We wish you all the best to your future travels and looking forward to see you in Prague next time :-) Sincerely Lukas Vraz - Spectrum Tours

Definitely worthy the money!
What was great on this tour was that our guide was really a local person who has provided us with lots of useful insider tips and tricks. What to avoid etc. It was definitely worthy our money!! ;-))
Response from the operator: Dear travelers. Thank you for your nice review. :-) We wish you all the best to your future travels and looking forward to see you in Prague next time :-) Sincerely Lukas Vraz - Spectrum Tours

Avoid
Guide was inappropriate in his commentary on women , used bad language and made us very uncomfortable. Neither Viator or the tour operator agreed to discount. Upon further research I saw similar comments on this particular guide so it has definitely happened before. Avoid. Very unprofessional.
Response from the operator: It of course has never happened before, beacuse he has 5-star reviews from all other travellers, dozens of them. We have nothing to say more on this as this is one negative comment versus dozens of other - very positive ones. Do you know even his name btw.?? That you are mentioning some your research...

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Half-Day Prague Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
