excellent day hiking the cliffs with my family!
we had a great time! the boys took us on a great hike on the cliffs near the beach. got to learn about the area and its evolution, which i loved. i hike regularly but my family doesn’t so it was great to get to do this together—especially my kids and father! i’m even thinking about coming back in the future (something i rarely do even with great places/experiences) to do some more activities with them!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt message! 😊 We're really happy the hike was a special moment for you and your family — from the cliffs to the stories behind them. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back anytime you're in Cascais again! 🌊🥾

Great Views and Kind Guides
The views were amazing. Our guides had a lot of patience with us and taking photos..lol. We had a great time on this hike. My favorite part was the walk down hill from the forest. That breeze was just amazing!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! 😊 We're so glad you enjoyed the hike and that the downhill breeze hit just right — nature’s little reward! Hope to see you again soon for more great views and laughs 📸🌿

Sintra forest hike
We went on a wonderful hike with Joao. The scenery was beautiful and we ended it with a picnic up on a rock that Joao somehow coaxed my reluctant wife to scramble up. A wonderful and unique experience!

Must do experience in Cascais !!
We did this as a team-building event with a group of colleagues and it was hands down, one of the best experiences I have been on. The team were very flexible and helpful throughout the booking process. We used a full service including pick up and drop off at the hotel, I would definitely recommend doing this if you're a group. The hiking route was breathtaking. Our guides were true natives who truly love Cascais and that was evident in how they spoke of their town and in the beautiful places they showed us. would highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your glowing review! We're thrilled to hear your team-building event was such a success. Our flexibility and full-service approach aim to make every experience seamless. We'd love to welcome you and your group back anytime!

Amazing nature experience for kids
My little one (5 year old) went for a morning hike and climbing with the team at Cascais. He felt so big and happy when he got back. We will definitely register him again. It was a great nature experience for him

Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cascais.
How much does Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon cost?
+
Prices start at $68 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cascais usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cascais is not rushed.
Is Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cascais, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cascais can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cascais and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Guided Hike in Sintra-Cascais National Park, Lisbon start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cascais within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cascais?
+
On Outty we rank every Cascais experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Surf Experience in Cascais, Best of Sintra Private Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup, E-bike in the backroads of Cascais and Sintra. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cascais?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cascais?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
