Solid
Great trip with Cascais Routes, an outdoor exploring company in Cascais. Sadly we had rain and mist spoiling most of our view, but good exercise. Duarte our guide made a great tour for us anyway. Not too challenging for a group of four relatively fit people, albeit older, and certainly not experienced mountain bikers. Appears to have the ability to flex the trail difficulty to the clients level of fitness. Origination point is two miles from Cascais center
Response from the operator: Thank you for your thoughtful review! 🌧️ Even with the misty weather, we're glad you enjoyed the ride and felt well guided. We'll be here for sunnier skies and more scenic views next time you're around! 🚴♂️🌄

What a lucky Find!
I spotted João’s van parked by my hotel and took a photo of the contact numbers and sent a WhatsApp. I had 2 great activities, 1 day doing trail running for 90 mins through countryside and along coast, next day 2.5 hours on Electric mountain bikes. Both were incredible trips which made my time in Cascais! There base is 10 mins from centre of town yet nearly in the country. João ( who is the company owner) was an incredible guide, I loved my time doing it. I can really recommend this company! Guy

Is Private Mountain Biking in Sintra-Cascais Park, Lisbon suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book Private Mountain Biking in Sintra-Cascais Park, Lisbon?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cascais can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cascais and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Cascais?
+
On Outty we rank every Cascais experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Surf Experience in Cascais, Best of Sintra Private Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup, E-bike in the backroads of Cascais and Sintra. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cascais?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cascais?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
