Fun experience

Although very touristy, it was a fun experience. Close to major hotels, and a short taxi ride, or book through an agency that provides transportation. Especially good for families and someone unfamiliar with Egyptian history. Well worth the couple of hours spent there, especially on the day before we began our 3 week Egypt/Nile tour with Grand Circle/OAT.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! 🌟 We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed your private tour with Guide. The guide will be delighted to know that you appreciated the experience, Creating enjoyable memories and helping guests capture great photos is always an important part of the journey! 📸✨ Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back to Egypt again soon for more unforgettable adventures

Great place to visit - HORRIBLE tour company

We enjoyed visiting the Pharaonic Village and the scenes from early times in Egypt. The driver was capable and timely. The tour guide, Ali, was a HUGE disappointment. He had not idea how the village worked. He did not provide any information or details about Egypt. The only thing he spoke to us was his name and confirmed the location. We did not get to see everything on our tour because he had no idea what he was doing. I would never book another trip with this this tour company and certainly never another tour with Ali. There are so many better tour companies out there with informative, personable tour guides.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed visiting the Pharaonic Village and that the driver provided a timely and smooth experience. At the same time, we are truly sorry that the guiding service did not meet your expectations. This is not the level of service we aim to provide. Our guides are expected to deliver informative, engaging, and well-organized tours, and we regret that this was not your experience. We also apologize that you were not able to fully explore all aspects of the tour as intended. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will address this internally to improve the quality and consistency of our guides. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Great experience we have and witnesses the story about Moses when he was floating on the river nile.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you had a great experience and enjoyed learning about the fascinating story of Moses and the Nile. Sharing Egypt’s rich history and cultural heritage with our guests is what makes our work so special. We hope to welcome you again soon for another unforgettable journey in Egypt!

How much does Private Guided Family Tour to the Pharaonic Village in Cairo cost?

Prices start at $31 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Guided Family Tour to the Pharaonic Village in Cairo take?

+

Is Private Guided Family Tour to the Pharaonic Village in Cairo worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Private Guided Family Tour to the Pharaonic Village in Cairo suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Guided Family Tour to the Pharaonic Village in Cairo?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Guided Family Tour to the Pharaonic Village in Cairo start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Giza?

+

On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel, ATV Bike, Shopping & Dinner Cruise, Giza Pyramids VIP Private Tour ATV Camel Inside Pyramid & Lunch, Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel Ride, Lunch & Inside pyramids. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Giza?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Giza?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
