The best excursion with the best guide!
We were lucky to have Filiz as our guide during our visit to Turkey, accompanying us to see Ephesus and other incredible places. It has been a wonderful experience thanks to her. She is a wonderful guide, she expresses herself phenomenally and explains everything in a very clear and enjoyable way, making the visit even more interesting. But, above all, I would highlight her warmth, her affection, and how attentive she was to us at all times. She is a lovely person, very professional, and one of those guides who makes you take away an even nicer memory of the trip. Without a doubt, we would repeat with her and would recommend her to anyone visiting Turkey. Thanks for everything, Filiz!❤️

A very interesting tour. Volkan, the guide, made the experience very pleasant for us, despite the heat. The transportation was luxurious. Essential if you are visiting Kusadasi.

I booked this tour the...
I booked this tour the night of our arrival into Izmir. The next morning of the trip booked at 11:00 I had not received any contact from the tour operator called Ada travel. After contacting Vistor for help via WhatsApp they said they resent the confirmation to Ada, When we did connect to Ada they told me Viator had not sent them a confirmation the night before and they needed to scramble for a guide. Two hours later we had Esra who was amazing and kind ! However, instead of going to a market and heading to a chef experience to cook a home cooked meal we went to a restaurant. The truth is ..This tour no longer exists and the tour operator has asked Viator to stop selling it since they don’t offer it anymore, yet Viator still sells this tour. I tried to get a voucher and Viator tried to ask the operator for a full refund when Viator is selling a tour they have been asked to not sell. This was in no way the fault of Ada travel rather Viator not taking down a tour that is no longer available. DONT BOOK THIS!!

Fabulous private tour of beautiful Kusadasi!
We had a lovely tour in Ephesus while ported in Kusadasi. We were met and returned to port at our scheduled times. Emre was a very approachable guide and was so knowledgeable. He really brought the ruins to life for us. The museum is a new addition to the ruins and shouldn’t be missed. It is very visual with a 360 screen experience. It describes the history of the site with modern technology. It lasts 15 minutes and was included in our tour. After seeing the Artemis house and the house of the Virgin Mary we went to a delicious Turkish lunch where Emre filled us in on the local culture of Turkey. This brought the tour full circle bringing the history up to our current time. We were able to see the traditional methods of the carpets being made and beautiful jewelry made by the locals. What a fabulous day in Kusadasi! Thank you so much for the tour. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re truly delighted to hear that your day in Ephesus while docked in Kuşadası was such a memorable experience. It’s wonderful to know that Emre’s knowledge and friendly approach helped bring the ancient ruins to life, and that you enjoyed the 360° museum experience — it’s definitely one of the newer highlights we’re proud to include. We’re also happy that the tour felt complete for you — from exploring historical landmarks like the House of Virgin Mary and the Temple of Artemis to enjoying authentic Turkish cuisine and local craftsmanship. Your appreciation for every aspect of the day truly means a lot to us. Thank you again for choosing us, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime for more unforgettable moments in Turkey. Warmest regards, Melisa

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kusadasi.
How much does Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kusadasi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kusadasi is not rushed.
Is Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kusadasi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kusadasi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kusadasi and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Guided Ephesus Tour With New Museum start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kusadasi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kusadasi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kusadasi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour with ENTRY TICKET+LUNCH, Ephesus Temple of Artemis and House of Mary Private Half Day Tour, Ephesus and Temple of Artemis Private Tour from Kusadasi Port. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kusadasi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kusadasi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
