    Ephesus Tour – Highly Recommend

Booking was incredibly easy with a smooth online ordering process and excellent communication every step of the way. From the moment we arrived, our private driver and guide made everything seamless and stress-free. Old town Ephesus absolutely lives up to its reputation. The history, the architecture, and the atmosphere were simply unforgettable — definitely one of the highlights of our trip. A special shoutout to Filiz, who was hands-down the best tour guide I’ve had in years. Her knowledge, personality, and passion for the area made the tour truly exceptional. To top it off, they even dropped us off exactly where we wanted at the end of the day — a nice personal touch that made the whole experience feel even more customized. Would definitely book with them again.

Response from the operator: Dear Josh Thank you for your kind, positive, detailed comment. Lovely to hear you had a great time in Ephesus with our guide Ms Filiz.

Pleasant Guide who Pleasant Guide Who Didn’t Deviate Much From Her Script

We chose a private tour because we are elderly and didn’t want an early start for our tour of Ephesus. We also felt that a private tour could be tailor-made to our needs and shortened if necessary. We indeed did have a later start at 10. The guide was early, friendly and experienced, so it was a good start. We soon found that our guide had her script and was going to stick to it regardless of what we already knew or in what we were interested. She continued in transmit mode throughout the tour. I specifically said that I was keen on the Biblical context of Ephesus and particularly interested in the Theatre and the Agora. While we were guided in the Theatre, we were left to our own devices (with instructions) for the Library and the Agora - disappointing!

Response from the operator: Dear Chris, Thank you for taking the time and uploading your review, we have noted your comment regarding the Biblical sites of Ephesus and our operations team will look into this and we will inform all our tour guides. We hope to see you soon to make it up with you Warm Regards

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
