City tour of Marrakesh
Tour of inside the medina was arranged by hotel. Started off taking to see the historic attractions but then moved on the the Souk. It was a labarynth but felt we were being taken to specific stalls where the guide nee the owners and was commissioned based. When we asked to stop at a stall we were told no good and quickly moved on. We got taken to carpet shops and argan oil pharmacies where after a talk and demo we were encouraged to purchase items. This is a trip we could have done ourselves. Cost £40 or 400 MAD for the group (5 of us)
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your Marrakech medina tour. We’re truly sorry to hear that parts of the experience didn’t meet your expectations. Our goal is to offer an authentic and insightful introduction to the historic heart of Marrakech — including key cultural sites, local craftsmanship, and the rich atmosphere of the souks. We understand your concerns about feeling directed toward specific shops. While it's common in Marrakech for guides to include stops at artisanal cooperatives and traditional workshops, your comfort and preferences should always come first. We’ll be reviewing this experience closely with our guide to ensure that future guests feel more in control of their shopping time and choices. We also appreciate your comment about the value of the tour. While navigating the medina independently is possible, many guests choose a guided visit to better understand the history, culture, and hidden corners of this fascinating city — but we understand that every traveler’s expectations are different. Your feedback helps us improve, and we hope to have the chance to provide a more satisfying experience for you on a future visit. Warm regards, The Marrakech First Trip Team

Beautiful Morocco
Soufian organized our airport pickup, all transport, guides, Riads and tour guides for our 5 days in Morocco which includes Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca and Rabat. Our guides were friendly, very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Soufian is delightful; he’s also organized, reliable, funny, accommodating and was great company. We felt comfortable and relaxed with him. Morocco is a beautiful and historic country; we had a fantastic trip. I cannot recommend this tour company enough and would definitely use them again for a return trip.

Your appreciation means a lot — knowing that you felt relaxed, well cared for, and fully immersed in Morocco’s beauty is exactly what we aim for. It was a joy spending time with you, and I’m so grateful for the trust you placed in us. Looking forward to welcoming you back for another adventure whenever you’re ready. Morocco always has more to discover! Warmest regards, Soufian

Private Tour of the Medina and main cultural sites
This private tour is a must to get a true experience via your certified guide. You will experience areas that you are unlikely to experience without the tour guide. We had Mohammed as our guide. His knowledge and keeping us informed made the tour very special. I know you are unlikely to get the same guide each time, but he was excellent. Thank You Mohammed. You will know who you are. We toured with you on Sunday the 4th of February.
Response from the operator: Thank you Dear client for your excellent review. We wish to meet you again in another experience for another destination in Morocco. Thank you so much Best regards

Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Guided City Tour to Discover The Medina or Old Town of Marrakech start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
