A Perfect Sunrise Angkor Wat Tour
We had a great time with our guide Tom, and Southeast Asia Journeys made it super easy for us to visit Angkor Wat for the sunrise tour. Tom knew the perfect spot where we could sit and watch the sunrise away from the crowds, and he had a bunch of great suggestions for places to take photos (for those who care to get the perfect shot). The air conditioned car with cool towels after every stop and bottled water was a huge plus! I've already recommended the company to several friends who've traveled to Siem Reap and will continue to do so!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind recommendation. We're truly delighted to know that you had a great time at Angkor and enjoyed our guide, Tom's explanation. Once again, thank you so much for choosing our tour agency and we looking forward to seeing you again in the future.

An Amazing Day Out with Our Guide Sina!
Sina, our guide came highly recommended and did not disappoint! He and the driver of our beautiful private van picked us up from our hotel and took care of everything during the day. We saw Angkor Wat at sunrise and 2 additional beautiful temples. What made the experience extra special was Sina’s incredible knowledge of the Khmer history, the carved stories and the people who built, designed and crafted the temples. ..oh, and the ice cold towels every time we returned to the van were a hit. After a fab lunch he took us on a boat trip to the floating village. All in all, day we will always remember made extra special by our wonderful guide. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the sunrise at Angkor Wat, the temples, and the floating village. Your appreciation of Sina's knowledge, service, and the little comforts throughout the day truly means a lot to us. We are grateful you chose us and are happy to know this was a day you will always remember.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass cost?
+
Prices start at $85 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Guided Angkor Sunrise Half Day Tour Includes Temple Pass start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
