Guatapé + Boat Tour! 10/10!
We had an amazing experience touring Guatapé with our entire family! We were a group of 9, and everything about the tour was wonderful from start to finish. We enjoyed a delicious traditional Colombian lunch, took a beautiful boat ride with incredible views, and explored the colorful town of Guatapé. Our tour guide, Diana, was absolutely amazing! She was fluent in both English and Spanish, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone in our group felt comfortable and included. She provided so much interesting information about the history and culture of the area, which made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this tour, especially for families or larger groups. It was a perfect combination of beautiful scenery, great food, culture, and fun. We would definitely do it again! 🇨🇴❤️

I cannot recommend MedellinDayTrips enough! From beginning to end, the level of service was exceptional. Andres, the owner, was incredibly responsive and communicative both before and throughout our tours. I was traveling with my parents, and it was very important to me that their needs and comfort were taken into consideration. Andres went above and beyond to make sure everything was accommodated and that we felt completely taken care of. We initially booked a private Guatapé tour for Wednesday with our guide, Erika, and she was absolutely AMAZING. We enjoyed our day with her so much that before the tour was even over, we decided we wanted to book another tour for the very next day! Andres immediately worked with us and was able to accommodate the last-minute request, which we greatly appreciated. Erika truly made our experience in Medellín special. She was warm, patient, personable, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made us feel like we were exploring Colombia with a friend rather than simply following a tour guide. Her knowledge of Medellín, Colombian culture, history, and especially coffee was so impressive. We learned so much from her, but she presented everything in such a natural and engaging way that it never felt like a typical scripted tour. What stood out most was the genuine care both Erika and Andres showed my family. Traveling with older parents can require a little extra patience and flexibility, and they made everything easy and comfortable without ever making us feel rushed. That meant so much to me. We came to Medellín expecting to take one tour and ended up booking two consecutive days with MedellinDayTrips—that alone should tell you how pleased we were! If you are visiting Medellín and looking for a trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable and genuinely caring tour company, look no further. Ask for Erika if you can—you will absolutely love her. And thank you, Andres, for the outstanding service and for helping make our family trip to Colombia so memorable. Five stars truly aren’t enough. Tour of Guatapé + boat ride
Erika was a fantastic guide. She was extremely engaging and very knowledgeable about the region’s history and politics. She accommodated the desires of the group and regularly provided options for each activity. She projects her voice well and our entire group was always able the hear her. If I were to take another tour in the region, I would request Erika.

Amazing tour - book Erica!
This is the link we were given for review, for full transparency we did Piedra de Puñol with a fruit tasting beforehand; a boat tour; and then explored Guatapé walking around. firstly I will say: REQUEST ERICA! She is amazing and we loved learning from her during the entire tour. She is incredibly knowledgeable and gave great advice and tips as well. She also is kind and thoughtful - my friends have a kid and she was so helpful in entertaining him while my friends checked things out. Erica also had a lot of patience that bringing a 4 year old along with a tour does and that also is worth noting. I loved chatting with Erica in between learning from her, and hope to go on future tours with her. The flower finca and chocolate and coffee tours sound amazing and the next time I am in Medellín I plan to book those with her!
