THE MOST UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE I WILL EVER HAVE
All the tours recommended by my organizer. From the Giza Pyramids in Cairo to the Valley of the Kings in Luxor. Our tour guides Emad and Mamdouh made our tours exciting and wanting for more. They were both attentive and made us feel like more than clients. We were treated like part of the family and that was the special part of our whole experience. Mona was the BEST start of this whole adventure. We haven't meet in person, but from the day I showed my interest into coming to Egypt, it's like she knew what I wanted and she was with me all the way answering all my questions, making adjustments and making sure all I desired was met. Mona, you are truly a Gem. Ahmed who was what I call our Concierge made us feel like Royalty as we stepped off the plane. He was there to call and rely on literally 24HRS a day throughout our whole stay. I invited my friends to accompany my husband and I on this monumental trip and YOUR EGYPT TOURS MADE SURE THEY DELIVERED ON WHAT WAS PROMISED. I will NEVER forget this wonderful adventure. I plan to revisit Egypt and I know MY EGYPT TOURS is who I will go to time and time again. I would like to send special special thanks and appreciation to: MONA AHMED EMAD MAMDOUH PETER RAVID OSAMMA LOVE EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF YOU.......THE JAMAICAN CREW SENDS THEIR REGARDS

I cannot recommend this company enough. It starts with Mona. She and I emailed back and forth getting my trip exactly the way I wanted. She had great ideas of things to do that I’d not even thought of yet. Once we got the itinerary and pricing worked out all I had to do was wait until time to go. Once I landed in Cairo at 11pm after over 24 hours in transit, Ahmed was there to meet me at the gate. I was exhausted and he just grabbed my carryon and welcomed me and off we went. He walked me through getting a visa, immigrations and customs. I have never transitioned through a foreign airport more quickly or easily. I was sooo grateful for that! Mamdouh, the driver was waiting to immediately get me to the hotel. Once we got to the hotel, Ahmed told me to sit and rest and he handled my check-in to the very nice hotel with a breathtaking view of the Nile that Mona recommended. Before Ahmed left we discussed what time I would be met in the morning by the guide. It was my choice, my trip, my time. He gave me some guidance, but it was my vacation. The next person I met was Mamdouh the guide. He is an Egyptologist who took me to the pyramids, bazaar and a nice road trip to Alexandria. To say Mamdouh knows his stuff is an understatement. I learned so much and had so much fun. I’m not sure whether I was more grateful for Mamdouh the guide’s knowledge or Mamdouh, the driver’s, skills on the busy streets of Cairo. I am a solo woman traveler and having a kind, professional, safe company to set everything up and get me everywhere I wanted to be was priceless. When the owner of the company, Adel, found out I was there to celebrate my birthday, he arranged to take me to a local restaurant for dinner!. They were looking out for me every step of the way with service far beyond what I had paid for. I was always able to immediately contact someone if I needed anything. I even wanted to change my itinerary in the middle of my trip...no problem. I hired a tour company and I got that, but I got so much more. I ended up with more knowledge of Egyptian history and culture than I ever expected, but most importantly, I ended up with new friends. I cannot wait to go back!

An exceptional trip made possible by an exceptional company
I just returned from Egypt after 12 days of touring with Your Egypt Tours. This was a once in a lifetime adventure made all the more wonderful by the incredible help of Your Egypt Tours. I started planning the trip in early March with the exceptional help of Ms. Mona Hamdy. In the next 20 days and after messaging the tours over at least 15 emails I had my trip arranged. Mona answered each and every query quickly and efficiently and made many suggestions to enhance my trip. Upon arrival at the Cairo airport I was met by my Your Egypt Tours facilitator Mr. Ahmed. He met me at arrivals with a sign with my name on it and immediately helped me through everything to acquire my visa at take me to my van for transportation to my hotel. Can't say enough good things about our driver, Mr. Mamdouh. He ferried my around Cairo for three days of my 12 day journey without any kind of problem. Which, because Cairo has just crazy traffic and drivers is quite an accomplishment. YET had booked me into a Nile River view room in the Kempinski Hotel in Cairo. Strongly suggest you stay in this hotel. Superior in every way. Huge rooms with great views. Great, helpful staff. And a really wonderful breakfast buffet which was included in my rate. On my first morning in Cairo I was met in the hotel lobby by my guide Mr. Mamdouh. And again had my driver from the night before, Mr. Mamdouh. So I had an easy time remembering my driver's and guide's names as they were the same. I was taken on my tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx as well as the step pyramid and other pyramids at Djoser. Mr. Mamdough took the requisite touristy pictures of me at each site. And he took me to a wonderful restaurant and suggested I try the stuffed pigeon. I really suggest you try this if you have never had it. Yummy! The next day I was taken to the airport for my flight to Aswan to board my Nile river cruise by Mr. Ahmed and our faithful driver Mr. Mamdouh. Again I was helped through security and given my boarding pass by Mr. Ahmed. Upon arrival in Aswan I was met at the airport by my guide for the next 8 days. Mr. Ahmed. See a pattern here? Two Mr. Ahmeds and Mr. Mamdoughs. Mr. Ahmed was a font of knowledge about everything Eqypt. From each temple, to each tomb, to the history of every where we went, he explained it to me. When I told him I wanted to try different Egyptian dishes he arranged it. I really wanted to taste camel and he arranged for our driver to take us to a great restaurant overlooking the Nile which had a wonderful camel dish. No matter what my request was, he worked hard to make it come true. We did many things not on the tour simply because I asked. Stopping at local markets, getting hot bread on the side of the road, no matter what, he was agreeable. In the 8 days, I had many drivers but all were excellent. I can't say enough about how wonderful Your Egypt Tours was. They made this trip into much more than I had ever imagined. Choose this company and you will be happy. Truly. And one note: Mr. Ahmed in Cairo arranged an incredibly fast Covid test for me so I could board my flight back to the US. A worry I had that was handled beautifully to easy my mind.

Your Egypt Tours made my Egypt trip awesome
Oh, wow, indeed! Your Egypt Tours (YET) exceeded my wildest expectations for a flawless, impeccable, most enjoyable, and unforgettable tour of Egypt. I did a private, solo 8 days seven nights tour, and added Alexandria and Cairo day tours for two additional days. A friend of mine highly recommended me YET 2 years ago, he did the same types of tours. He told me that this company, the guides and everybody else were amazing. I followed his advice and booked with YET. This was the best decision I made! Both thumbs up for this company, every great thing I heard about it is confirmed and more! Everything was highest quality and rating as they were saying and advertising – the hotels, the ship, the vans they use for transportation, the food, the drivers, and…of course – the Egyptologist guides! The operations are complex to service a tourist and a lot of coordination is necessary. They deliver without any single hick up or wait! I am so thankful! Before I go through more details, I want to say that I felt safe and protected at every single second during my tour of Egypt. All my concerns and worries left me the minute I was in the YET hands, from when they met me in the airport. Everybody does everything necessary to provide safety and security – the drivers constantly being with the van and watching it, the guides who operate so well and smoothly in all crowded and diverse places that you simply follow them and that’s that. They give you great advice how to handle various places if you want to go on your own in the evening or early morning time. Mona Hamdy handled the booking process, answered all my questions thoroughly, gave me all the options and customized the tour to include everything I wanted. Everything was smooth and easy. One reviewer said the Airport service was a breeze. Indeed! Mohammad Ali met me right out of the plane and smoothly took me through the visa, passport, customs, process, to the new and air-conditioned van, straight to the wonderful hotel with great pyramid views. Now, the airport indeed is busy, and, if on your own, one would have harder time. But Mohammed made it easy, both on arrival and departure! I had two guides during my Egypt tour who made the essence of my trip – see the wonders of Egypt – most enjoyable and special. Mamdouh was my Egyptologist guide for the Cairo, Giza, Sakkara, Memphis, and Alexandria area. Ashraf was for Luxor-Edfu-Com Ombo-Aswan area and during the Nile cruise. Boy, were they wonderful! While my most generous compliments go to Mamdouh and Ash, I need to also compliment the owner of the company. He either chooses the best personalities and people for guides, brings the best experts, or provides extensive training! Either way, the result is that with YET I had the most professional, knowledgeable, cheerful, pleasant, tactful, personable guides I could ever imagine! Ash and Mamdouh are amazing – they walked all extra miles and did everything to provide amazing experience. One can’t help but feel really lucky having them as Egyptologist guides. Both tweaked the schedules when I asked if it was possible to visit other places or replace certain places. Ash treated me with a tasty lunch in Aswan and with a cake on my Birthday which was a great surprise. Mamdouh stopped in a special place in Alexandria to buy the most tasteful baklava and Egyptian deserts. I liked them so much, that he stopped again on return and bought e more! Their highest professionalism, their conduct, travel etiquette is impeccable and deserves highest remarks. They pick the pace of the tourist, easily adjust, sensing how much information and details are needed, they always point the most important; they are passionate and very knowledgeable. Everything seems easily achieved and on the tip of the fingers but make no mistake – it is easy because of their expertise. They are great conversationalists too – they connect with you and keep you engaged. It is never boring and never overwhelming with them – now that is art! Ash or Mamdouh are most tactful persons you would meet. Some guides think that they need to talk all the time to the tourists to feel useful and provide value. This often tires the tourists, especially in long full day tours, depriving them of the opportunity to think, grasp the beauty and the marvel at the sites they visit. Ash and Mamdouh always gave me personal space exactly as much as I needed (are you guys psychologists?). During long drives, some guides talk endlessly with the driver, or on their phones, that again, can overwhelm tourists. I would get a headache if in such situation. I had 6+ hour drives with both of them for a single day: with Ash to Abu Simbel, and with Mamdouh – Alexandria. Neither of them did any such mistake. They tactfully kept silence when I wanted to rest. They talked only when related to the trip, quiet, and short exchanges. In general, they are excellent in attuning to the tourist’s needs and pace. This is amazing and is a skill that should not be taken for granted – it takes personality and years to develop it. In conclusion: I have the following advice for all of you who think visiting the incredible Egypt and getting an unforgettable experience: 1) Visit with a guided tour. Egypt is one of the countries where you do need a guide. Making on your own is very hard, take it from me who has no problem traveling solo and have driven on my own or with my family 50,000 km and visited about 800 cities and places in Europe, Asia, South and North America without guides. 2) Do book your tour with Your Egypt Tours, simply said, it is unique and the best in every sense of the word.

Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.
How much does Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $78 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.
Is Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Giza Pyramids Sound & Light Show Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cairo?
+
On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cairo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cairo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
