Excellent Experience

We booked this tour as part of a 3 day visit to Egypt. All toys and transfers were booked as a package through Royal Egypt Tours. We started the day by meeting our driver and our tour guide at our hotel. Our guide was Hala (AKA Sugar Queen) and she was amazing. She brought so much fun and energy to the day and made us feel so welcome into her home country. Obviously the tour will take you to the main sights and attractions but it was so much more than that. Hala has a great understanding of the history of the region and o o idea an almost overwhelming amount of information, truly amazing. She took us to a great restaurant and we ensured we got to experience some authentic Egyptian cuisine. The tour does stop at a few touristy shops where you can buy stuff but you don’t feel pressured at all. Additionally, when you go to the Giza pyramids Hala will make sure you have a great experience. Bartering with the Bedouin gentleman about camel rides seems difficult but Hala made sure we were well taken care of. She will also take the time to explain how much to tip so you don’t have to stress about that at all. The tour is truly full service and such an enjoyable experience. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this company.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review & we hope to see you again.

A Seventh Wonder Adventure!

We had an exceptional day with Muhammad & Haitham. Muhammad was very knowledgeable on all the sites we visited and we learnt so much from him. A great host who gave us plenty of time to appreciate the amazing sites. Haitham was a fabulous driver and kept us safe on the roads. We really loved the itinerary and would recommend to anyone who wants to have a memorable experience learning and immersing oneself in a slice of Egyptian history. Fantastic!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review & we hope to see you again

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
