    Couple tour and delicate meal

The tour itself was great, but the real highlight was the fresh, locally-prepared lunch. It added an authentic touch that captured the spirit of Montenegrin hospitality. I would recommend this to couples especially, preparing and enjoying your meal is great bonding activity.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for the wonderful recommendation! Good to hear it 😊 Warm regards from our crew

    Great mussels/bad boat ride

The boat ride was uneventful- the driver didn’t talk or point out any points of interest The Mussel farm was AMAZING/ delicious and very nice welcoming people. The boat ride on the way back was no better and finished 20 minutes early- rip off!! Just go the the restaurant and skip the boat!

Response from the operator: We sincerely apologize for the underwhelming experience you had with our boat ride. It's disheartening to hear that the driver did not engage or point out points of interest, and we are truly sorry for any disappointment caused. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we acknowledge that it may have been an off day for the driver. We take such comments seriously and will use this information to improve our services to ensure a more engaging and enjoyable experience for our guests. On a positive note, we're glad you enjoyed the Mussel farm and found the people there welcoming. Regarding the boat ride on the way back, we apologize for any perceived shortfall and will review our procedures to address the early finish. We appreciate your honest feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more satisfying experience in the future.

    Excellent, and better than described!

Fabulous day and, we think, very much undersold. We didn’t realize it was a speedboat trip - visited Lady of the Rock, then the mussel farm where we had lunch. Trip was amazing - description in the App needs to be improved!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you had a fabulous day on our speedboat trip, even if it came as a surprise. It's great to know that you enjoyed visiting Lady of the Rock and the mussel farm, as well as the lunch. We appreciate your feedback regarding the description which is also a compliment on it`s own and thank you again! We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon, and we'll strive to make your next trip with us even more enjoyable and informative!

    Not So welcome

Not the best Viator excursion. Boat captain was great, lady of the rock interesting. However the oyster experience was a bit uncomfortable. The boat captain said he’d be back for us in 50 minutes and he was told by oyster farmer that was too long. Very unwelcoming start. They fed us mussels and wine and ignored us. They had many other offerings and we would have stayed for lunch, maybe fish or shrimp that locals were eating but no menu was offered. We were simply ignored. The boat captain was kind enough to drop us in Perast and directed us to an excellent restaurant. I would suggest doing oyster farm tour in ston Croatia which included an interesting demonstration by the farmer who was happy to see us and excited to tell us all about oyster farming.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent trip. We truly appreciate hearing about our customers' experiences, as it helps us improve our services. We apologize for any discomfort you felt during the oyster experience. It's regrettable to hear that you perceived a lack of attention from the staff and missed out on other offerings. Your concerns have been duly noted, and we will take them into consideration for future tours. Different factors can influence the overall experience, and we apologize if it did not meet your expectations. We understand the importance of providing a warm and welcoming environment for our guests, and we will strive to ensure that such situations are addressed promptly and effectively. We are glad to hear that the boat captain and the visit to Lady of the Rock were enjoyable for you. Should you decide to give us another chance in the future, we will do our utmost to provide you with an improved experience. We value your feedback and thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention. Best regards

Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kotor.

How much does Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kotor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kotor is not rushed.

Is Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kotor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kotor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kotor and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Gastro Cruise: Blue Cave & Organic Seaside Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kotor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kotor?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kotor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Great Montenegro Tour-Lovcen NP,Mausoleum Lovcen,River of Crnojevic,Sveti Stefan, Kotor Bay Escape: Blue Cave, Beach & Swimming Time, Exclusive Blue Cave Kotor Swim, Mamula&Lady of the Rock 3 Hour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kotor?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kotor?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
