Loving my days in Luxor in the company with Husseins

I was fortunate enough to spend 2 days with Hussein. Day 1 we visited Karnak and the Luxor Museum. Day 2 the trip went to the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and a visit to an alabaster factory ect. Hussein is passionate and has immense knowledge about ancient Egypt. He radiates a joy in being able to talk about the various things. I learned a lot of new things that I had no prior knowledge of. Hussein took the time to show, explain, and especially answer questions that naturally came up. He was good at giving me time on my own to explore and get lost in all the things I saw. I would recommend Hussein to others at any time. From me, he gets 100 stars ⭐️

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review! It was truly a pleasure spending these two days with you and showing you the beauty of Luxor. I’m very glad you enjoyed the visits to Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, and all the other sites. Your kind words about my passion and explanations mean a lot to me. I always aim to make the experience both informative and enjoyable, while giving you time to explore at your own pace. I truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in Egypt soon!

    Waleed was the best!

Waleed was the best tour guide you could ask for! He was so informative, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Airport pickups, temple visits, random late night dinner/adventure requests... he was there for everything! I feel like we were able to do everything we could've wished for in both Luxor and Aswan! I 100% recommend booking with Waleed!!

Response from the operator: Thank you sincerely for your amazing review. It was truly an honor to be part of your journey. I’m delighted that you enjoyed every moment in Luxor and Aswan, and your kind words are greatly appreciated. Providing a seamless and memorable experience for my guests is always my top priority. You are always most welcome, and I look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.

How much does Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank cost?

    +

Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.

Is Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Full Day Tour of Luxor East and West Bank start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Luxor?

    +

On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Half Day Luxor Tour Valley of Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut, Full Day Tour to East and West Banks of Luxor (Private), Private Half day Tour to West bank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Luxor?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Luxor?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
