    The Best Time in Luxor!

Partner and I had THE BEST time with Ahmed and this transfer tour! Ahmed is very professional, considerate, funny and trustworthy, he made Luxor the highlight of our Egypt trip and we highly recommend this tour with him! Before the tour started, I noticed communicating with Ahmed was very easy and he replied to messages promptly with great details, and provided every useful information we needed, which was extremely helpful. Upon meeting him and his team, we were surprised by how attentive they were. We were greeted by a comfortable car equipped with everything we needed and more, and the driver was very experienced. Ahmed also made sure to guide us through all the confusing places in different attractions (trust me, you will get lost without guide in some places) and we enjoyed every minutes with him, and likes to hear him sharing knowledge about Egyptian history and culture. We were also lucky to be able to go to great local restaurants and enjoy sunset sailing on the Nile that were recommended by him. After the first day with Ahmed, we decided to book our entire time (4.5 days) in Luxor with him, and it was the best decision ever. Thank you so much Ahmed!

Response from the operator: I am truly honored to receive your heartfelt review! It was my absolute pleasure to be your guide and share the wonders of Luxor with you and your partner. I'm thrilled to hear that the transfer tour became a highlight of your Egypt trip. Your kind words about our communication before the tour and the seamless coordination are deeply appreciated. I believe in providing detailed information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for my guests. I'm delighted that you found our team's attentiveness and the well-equipped car to your satisfaction. Exploring Luxor's attractions together, sharing stories about Egyptian history and culture, and recommending local gems were moments I truly treasured. It warms my heart to know you enjoyed the local restaurants and the enchanting Nile sunset sailing, all part of the immersive experience I strive to offer. Your decision to extend the tour for your entire stay in Luxor means the world to me, and I'm grateful for the trust you placed in my services. Thank you once again for your kind words. I hope the memories of Luxor stay with you for a lifetime. If you ever return to Egypt, I would be honored to guide you through more of its wonders.

    Amazing Experience!

Honestly this was great. I definitely recommend booking and I’ll list my reasons on why. 1. They care about you as a person and don’t see you just as a “tourist” 2. They always make sure you have everything you need and are very helpful. 3. They give great explanations on each site 4. They don’t rush through everything, they let you take your time seeing and exploring and taking pictures. My partner and I are extremely satisfied with this. I hope you guys can book. Our tour guide is named Amaar. Maybe you can ask for him so you can have the same wonderful experience as we did ☺️

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your positive experience! It's great to hear that you felt cared for and had a wonderful time exploring with Amaar. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back on another adventure!

Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Luxor.

How much does Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Luxor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights take?

    +

Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Luxor is not rushed.

Is Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Luxor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Luxor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Luxor and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Full-Day Tour of Luxor: East & West Bank Highlights start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Luxor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Luxor?

    +

On Outty we rank every Luxor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Half Day Luxor Tour Valley of Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut, Full Day Tour to East and West Banks of Luxor (Private), Private Half day Tour to West bank. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Luxor?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Luxor?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
