Wonderful experience

This was an amazing adventure for my final day in South America. Javier was a wonderful guide. The trek was hard, with a quick altitude gain, and snow on the hike. But it was so peaceful, so beautiful and such an escape from busy Santiago.

Response from the operator: Hello Shaun, Thanks for this Nice Review, it was a Nice day. Best

Wonderful experience

One of the best hikes I've taken. Stunning views throughout each part, challenging but not overwhelming, and incredible feeling of achievement once you reach the summit. Javi was an amazing guide. He was thoughtful, considerate of the pace of the hike so that it works for you and very kind. Also a wonderful person to get to know! The hike is very much worth it. I took this hike on my last day in Santiago, and it left me with an incredible sense of adventure and admiration of the majestic Andes that I will carry with me forever when I look back to my time in Chile. I highly recommend it! I will book with Hike Chile again when I return, for sure. Thank you for an amazing experience.

If You Want A Challenging Hiking Experience in the Andes...

Javier was my guide on this amazing hike. He was very professional and personable throughout the entire day. His experience was helpful to make this hike enjoyable and safe. The hike itself is challenging, especially in the first hour and last hour as the trail is very steep in the beginning. Be prepared for extreme temperature changes with the change of altitude and the strong winds throughout the hike. The views of the summit are your reward for this amazing hike.
