Amazing Private Casablanca tour
Amazing experience and extremely affordable. We had a private tour for two in large vehicle for less than what the cruise was going to charge for a group tour for one person! We had a spacious air conditioned van and the driver picks you up right near your cruise ship outside security check point. We saved so much money and the tour was more enjoyable. The tour guide was amazing and knew all the short cuts around town. We didn't have to wait in line at the Mosque like other group tours did. Contact Private Morocco Tours before before booking your shore excursions with your cruise. You will not regret it!

Dropped off to wander and wonder...
We were greeted at the port terminal exit by a man with our name on a sign. He brought us to our actual guide, Marjuan, who did not have a permit to enter the port. Marjuan began by indicating that our tour was for Rabat only, according to his boss, but in fact the tour was supposed to include Casablanca. (He was mistaken). We went to Rabat in a comfortable car. We started at the Royal palace complex with the overview of the opera house and monument. Instead of accompanying us, he indicated that we had an hour to walk around on our own and would be back at a designated location. This happened again at the fortress and market. It would have been nice for him to come with us to explain what we were looking at, or provide translations in shops, most times we weren't sure what the sigificance of the sites were, or felt a bit lost while shopping. It would have been beneficial to have a separate driver and guide since adequate parking was a huge issue. Marjuan did a very good job at customizing the tour when we wanted to skip certain stops, and spoke English very well. We did enjoy the tour and felt that that we were very well cared for.

Nice car and weather, bad guide and tour.
Nice car. He was 45 minutes late at the port pick up site. Rushing around, not a guide, a driver who never exited the car except when he, unsolicited, dropped us off at some 'magic oil' back street buddies joint. We passed on his offer to get us a great rug deal. He said they no longer have Medinas. He drove like a complete ass on our return trip. Including constant complaints. Snuffled at the tip I gave and that was the day. Oh yes, no English as ordered so we spoke Spanish.. Eduardo or something close in Moroccan.
