A fabulous time!

When booking a tour for my mother's 80th birthday surprise trip to Niagara, my wife found Go With the Flow Tours. Seeing as how were were there in April, and the boats weren't running yet, we decided on the Syrup tasting and sightseeing tour. The price was reasonable for 4 people for a 4 hour tour. We had a private tour with Chris, who happens to be the owner of the company. Any time we can support locally owned businesses we do so, and we are so glad we did. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and laid back. He let us go at our own pace when we could, but some of our attractions had a specific time slot predetermined, like the syrup tasting, the Flight over the Falls experience, and Skylon Tower. We also drove around the falls, did the behind the falls experience, and stopped at the butterfly pavilion. The tour took around 4 hours, but honestly seemed to go a LOT faster. We could have done another 4 hours! Even though it was cold, going in April also meant that there were NO lines or crowds. It was a great experience for us all, but especially my mother. My father also turns 80 this year, and they both did great with what limited walking we had to do. We had many stops along the trip to get pictures of the falls, and the whirlpool from many different vantages. We cannot recommend Chris and Go With the Flow highly enough! (oh yeah, he also kept the tour bus warm for us the entire time :). Tip him well. Believe me, he will deserve it!

How many days do you need in Niagara Falls & Around?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
