Mirador Degollada De La Yegua
First stop at a Mirador from where you will have a spectacular view of Playa Del Ingles, its dunes and its lighthouse.

Stop at Fataga and short walk in the village. This peaceful village perched high in a valley is made up of small, well-preserved white houses and small, narrow, flowery streets. It is surrounded by ravines, pine trees and a lush and unique palm grove.

Iglesia de San Bartolome
Route to the village of San Bartolome de Tirajana located at 890 meters above sea level. We will visit the village church. consecrated in 1922. Its foundation dates back to the 16th century, with a façade composed of three bodies, the central of which houses two bells and a clock. Inside, you can admire stained glass windows representing the patron saints of the neighboring churches, as well as an ancient wooden statue of Santiago “El Chico”, one of the most precious pieces of the parish. The church is dedicated to San Bartolome, the patron saint of the village, and plays a central role in local religious celebrations.

Tejeda
Continuation of the road towards the small village of Tejeda which received the award of one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Walk in the village and lunch in a typical restaurant with local tapas (meals not included).

Cruz de Tejeda
After lunch we will go to Cruz de Tejeda where we will have (if there are not too many clouds) a magnificent view of Tenerife and the “El Teide” Volcano. Cruz de Tejeda marks the geographical center of the island. Stop to take photos and admire the landscape.

Pico De Las Nieves
We will then take the road towards “the Pico de La Nieves”. To appreciate the essence of a place and soak up its atmosphere, nothing is better than going to the highest point. In Gran Canaria, this is the Pico de las Nieves lookout point, right in the center of the island. At 1,949 meters above sea level, you will have breathtaking views of the Unesco biosphere reserve, with its countless deep valleys and jagged ridges, shrouded in vegetation and crowned with spectacular rocks.

Santa Lucia de Tirajana
After this climb, we will head towards Santa Lucia de Tirajana. We will stop to take a photo of the Church of Santa Lucía, a historic-artistic building located at the top of the town which stands out for the structure of its facade in beautiful smoothed stones which, associated with the whiteness and shape of its dome makes it unique. It will then be time to return to your hotel to finish this excursion.

Take a day away from the beach - you will not regret it
Very enjoyable day trip conducted by Fabien. We were collected directly from our hotel at the allotted time, and given a thoroughly informative tour of the local mountains. The villages we stopped at were picturesque, lots of view points and plenty of photo opportunities. A complete contrast to the hotel filled towns by the coast. Fabien was a considered driver, car exceptionally clean and the perfect guide. We would not hesitate to book Fabien again, and would recommend his services. Thank you Fabien Davide & Claudia

Amazing Private Tour
We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Fabien. From the moment we met him, his enthusiasm and energy were contagious. He’s incredibly organised and kept us well informed about the arrangements before the tour. He’s knowledgeable about the island and shared so many fascinating stories and insights that we would never have discovered on our own. What really made the day special was his sense of humour and the relaxed atmosphere he created — it genuinely felt like exploring the island with an old friend rather than being on a tour. Beautiful tour visiting mountain area of Gran Canaria
Yesterday we did private tour of mountains in Gran Canaria. Our first day we took a tuk tuk tour of Las Palmas so it was great to see the countryside. Fabien was our guide & he made a great itinerary for us with a stop in Tejeda for authentic Canarian food with almond pastries for dessert. Tejeda is truly beautiful village. We would highly recommend Fabien for this tour or any of his tours. He is so easy to be with & so knowledgeable about the island.
