One of the best travel days I’ve ever had
Olaya was our guide and picked us up at our hotel. I traveled with my two teenage children and didn’t really have an agenda planned out, as I was waiting on a local to give us guidance. Olaya did just that! Her family has been on the island for generations and she shared her knowledge with us the whole day. We started with the amazing cliffs, the green lake and then onto Timanfaya and she made the experience easy and efficient. I’m so glad we were not on a big bus. Then we went to the lava caves, which were stunning, and César Manriques house. It was a long day but I truly felt we experienced Lanzarote in the best way possible. Olaya gave us one of the best travel days I’ve ever had and she is so kind and enjoyable. I can’t recommend this company and Olaya enough.

Magical family memories (private tour)
A truly memorable experience for ourselves and the children. Angela was informative and wonderful with the kids, who were fascinated by every stop along the way. Highly recommend!

Lanzarote Private Tour very disappointing!
Our guide/driver, Angela, was not prompt in responding to questions prior to our cruise. At first, she wanted to pick our group up at 8am but our ship did not dock until that time. Then she said she'd pick us up at 11am. I said we could start earlier but she said 11am was fine. It was not fine!! When she did pick us up, she said there was only time to do 2 out of the 5 things on the itinerary!! She had a very nasty attitude when I questioned her. We only went to Jameos Del Agua and Timanfaya National Park for a bus ride around the landscape (suppodely you cannot hike/walk around anymore). She did stop at an overlook for a photo op. We did not go to El Golfo, Los Hervideros and La Geria as listed on the Viator Itinerary. Extremely disappointing, especially since Viator had also tried to contact her (or the tour operator) to let them know that 1 couple could not make the trip as the husband was in the hospital. They were unable to reach her in a timely manner and therefore we were unable to manage my booking or get a partial refund. This is not typical of Viator experiences as I have been using them for decades. Extremely disappointed especially since this was a PRIVATE tour. I DO NOT recommend this tour unless you confirm the tour operator will do the COMPLETE Itinerary!!

Fabulous excursion
Superb trip with friends exploring the south of Lanzarote. Nick and our driver were fantastic in making the 5 hour tour both interesting and informative. We were able to see the camels as they arrived and by not hanging around for a camel ride got to see a beautiful Lanzarote village instead that had a n amazing Nativity display. Can't recommend this private tour enough especially after seeing all the crammed tourist buses in the National Park!

Spectacular
4 hour trip primarily homing in on Fire Mountain arranged a few months ago. Private tour with driver/ guide whose English was very good went totally to plan. We were given opportunity to add in any other places of interest we wanted to visit. Yes, trip expensive but well worth this particular trip of a lifetime. Thank you to all those involved in planning and delivering a great tour on the day.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.
How much does Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available cost?
+
Prices start at $799 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.
Is Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?
+
On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatinis Show Bar Experience, Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff, MHT Lanzarote - Comedy Drag Dinner Show Experience - No1. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lanzarote?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Private excursion in Lanzarote, minibus and guide available?
+
Included: Professional guide service; and Private transport in a minibus with air conditioning. Not included: Tickets and meals not included; Entrance to Timanfaya; Entrance to the César Manrique Foundation; and Entrance to the Cactus Garden.
