Your expert guide will collect you from your hotel/accommodation or meeting point and will drive you to the renown Douro region. On your way to the Douro, the guide will give you insights regarding the Portuguese history, development and cultural facts of portuguese heritage. Arriving in Sabrosa we will do our first visit of the day. We will discover the first of two wineries where you learn about the wine production and history of Douro Region, and its wines. You will have the oportunity to taste different wines before the lunch. A complete lunch will be served by the end of the visit: a full traditional portuguese meal with entrance, main dish, dessert, pairing with Douro red or white wine.

It's now time to sail! Enjoy a 50 minutes scenic cruise on the Douro river departing from Pinhão on board of a traditional Rebelo boat.

Can’t miss - highlight of our trip
The highlight of our trip to Portugal! Ana was early to pick us up, engaging, friendly and made the trip better than we expected, she made this feel like a trip with a friend instead of just a job to her. The cost covers lunch, a river tour, a stop in a quaint town and two wineries, the price is well worth it. Regardless of if you’re a wine lover or not this tour is worth it just for the views and if you love wine come try Portuguese wine as a California wine lover Ana made me want to start looking for Portuguese wines on the wine list moving forward.

Perfect Day in Douro
Bernardo was our guide for the full-day private tour and was awesome! Pick up was very smooth, and he was extremely informational during the entire tour. Both vineyards we visited were fantastic, and the lunch was delicious! I’d definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Porto.
